s•u•n•s•h•i•n•e «§KENZ§» | 246 comments Master List:

Leon Dominik Lazar (Leon)
Delta | 5
People physically cannot lie around him. They mean to lie, but when they open their mouths, they end up blurting out the truth instead. It does not work over the phone or computer, only via physical proximity.

Illarion Nikolay Ion (Nik)
Delta | 2
Pheromones. Nik has a nose better than any human or animal. He is capable of differentiating odors between individuals and sensing their emotional states due to the pheromones they excrete. He is also capable of altering these scents so long as he obtains a sample and using his own perfumes (or chemical formulas). He can alter his own scent without the use of chemicals and can shift his smell from being nonexistent to irresistible, though at the moment he can't control his scent so it alters at random, usually on emotion.

Fukui Minako (Mina)
Delta | 1
Mina is light on her feet. That is, she has to wear lead-soled shoes to make sure that she doesn't start skipping and accidentally end up a couple meters off the ground. The way she understands it, she's able to jump extremely high and far, but skyscrapers are a bit out of her league. Mina's able to control her ability when she's in public so long as she focuses, but if she gets too excited, she loses her grip on maintaining her earth-bound status. She falls at a decelerated rate and lands softly, though her body technically has the same amount of mass. If someone were to pick her up with enough force and not hold on, she might accidentally end up somewhere above their head. She is able to walk up walls, so long as she gets traction, and is able to scale surfaces quite easily when they have handholds. Though strong breezes can't necessarily blow her away, a good shove will send her spinning.

Alaric Gabriel Kaulitz-Blaine (Erik)
Alpha | 2
The ability to manipulate, but not create, fire. His power is also limited by the size of the source of his power, so he can't do much if the source is a candle flame but a bonfire could spell a hospital trip for several people. In addition, he is fire retardant, but not fire proof and, consequently, can be burned if something is hot enough.

Artemis Lena Cornwell (Lena)
Alpha | 2
Lena has an electronic telepathy power. Meaning that she can control any device with her mind. And while she doesn't have to be in contact to communicate with it, the device does need to be within range of her ability. The more complicated the task, to more concentration and energy she needs to use to communicate with it.

Apollo Daniel Cornwell (Daniel)
Alpha | 3
Daniel has the ability to fly and levitate at will. He can carry people and objects when he's not touching the ground, but he can only carry as much as he would be able to carry if he were standing. The objects seem to feel less when he carries them, though their mass becomes more noticeable the higher and further he goes.

Diandra Taylor Prescott (Diandra)
Alpha (potentially Omega) | 5
Telepathic manipulation of metal that gets out of hand as related to her emotions. Anger and fear are the two that usually have the most disastrous results.

Nolwenn Jane Mccrae (Nolwenn)
Delta | 1
Nolwenn has the ability to accelerate plant growth. Initially she had to touch the plant, but the ability has now evolved so that physical connection is no longer required but rather she affects all plants within a certain radius of her. If she does touch the plant, then it's growth is accelerated even quicker until she either releases the plant or it completes its entire life cycle.

Sienna Saffron (Sienna)
Gamma | 2
Her shadow has its own life. It can't speak to her, but they have a quasi-telepathic communication. It can separate from her but is limited by distance. Once separated, Sienna has no control of her shadow's actions. It can physically interact with the world (but to what extent that is depends on it/Sienna's mental strength). Sienna is shadow-less when it leaves her body; others can see her separated, two-dimensional shadow when it is bodiless so she must be careful when she is around "normal" people. While it isn't necessarily evil per se, Sienna has found that her shadow often thinks or suggests actions that she would never dream of doing or even contemplate given their sometimes sinister or dark intent(ions). Sienna is never keen on releasing her shadow from her control but the shadow "eats" at Sienna (mentally as well as physically) consequently draining her so every once in awhile, she has to let it go.

Peter Alfred Witkowski (Alfie)
Delta | 3
When Alfie touches a person he experiences what they are thinking, be it a memory or thought. He can literally see things from other's perspectives. Generally speaking it takes a lot of concentration to get clear visions, and is therefore tiring. And typically people are not fond of others knowing their thoughts, not that they tend to believe him when he says "I can read your thoughts".

Daniel Christian Allencroft (Dan)
Delta | 2
Daniel can hear the thoughts of plants. Although they don't have as complex of thoughts as humans, the plants do remember certain things. One problem with this, though, is that the only sense of time that plants have is the passing of the seasons, so it is impossible for Dan to know if something happened minutes or weeks ago.

Louis J. Rousseau (Louis)
Alpha | 3
Louis is blessed/cursed with the ability to freeze objects and lower temperatures to -150 Celsius. At the moment he can only freeze things that come into contact with his skin, and if an object should have too much density or warmth he is unable to freeze it as fast.

Ichabod Nathaniel Brooks (Nathan)
Delta | 5
Nathaniel has the power to see the darker side of people. He can see what evil they are capable of and what evil will do, or have done. However, he can only see an individual's darkness if he is alone with them. If there are multiple people present then the darkness blurs and he is unable to pinpoint anyone's darker side. When he interacts with someone via skin contact he is able to delve deep into the psyche and and sift through memories, gaining a better understanding of the darkness in their hearts.

Ava Cooper (Ava)
Alpha | 5
Ava can command the sea, but her ability waxes and wanes with the phases of the moon. Come the new moon, she can do no more than create a little ripple in the water, but with the full moon cross her at your own peril.

Melanie Parks (Melanie)
Alpha | 3
Melanie has the ability to persuade people to do things they wouldn't otherwise do. To persuade them though, she must have physical contact with the person. At the moment, Melanie has to say what she wants the person to do, but as her power grows stronger, the less she'll have to verbally say. Eventually Melanie should reach the point where all she has to do is touch the person and mentally say what she wants them to do. Her persuasion only lasts a limited time, though the length grows along side her power. But it will never be a permanent change.

Guillermo Javier Gerardo de la Garza (Guillermo)
Delta | 5
Guillermo has the ability to sense a person's wants and needs, and is able to distinguish between the two. When he uses it passively, he is able to determine the basic want or need that is at the forefront of the person's mind. When he tunes in to a certain person, however, he is able to discern multiple wants and needs, some conscious, some unconscious, so long as the target is within eye-sight. The knowledge appears to him in an instinctual fashion, so he has no need to probe into their minds, and does not require physical contact for his ability to work.

Nkosazana Aya Unathi (Zana)
Beta | 2
Zana has the ability to mimic any action she's seen since her ability first showed itself. That being said, she cannot mimic abilities. Just because she sees someone start a fire with their ability doesn't mean she can suddenly start fires as well; she can watch someone fly a plane, but that doesn't mean she'll be able to fly a plane, only that she can recreate the precise action she previously observed.

Daemon DeLuca Winters (Daemon)
Alpha | 4
Daemon was born with the power to erase and manipulate memories related to him. He can only erase memories where the people directly remember him. He can completely remove memories of himself from other people and has begun to find that he can selectively pick out which memories of himself he can erase and which he can leave in.

Ayla Bell (Ayla)
Beta | 2
Ayla is able to shape shift, but she is unable to change into something large or smaller than she is due to potential injury. She's very unsure of her abilities considering she only began exploring them recently, so she's unable to hold a different form for elongated periods of time. Ayla's ability has changed her eye color, which was brown at birth, to gold when she's in her own form.

Willow Rosalie Jones (Willow)
Beta | 1
Willow can control the temperature by a certain ranger of degrees. Right now she has a small range of about fifteen to twenty degrees. She can change the temperature of objects from body temperature to water. Right now she can only change their temperature if she touches them, but will eventually get to where she can change the temperature by a large range of degrees and won't have to touch the object.

Audrey Melissa Blair Grayson (Audrey)
Delta | 2
Audrey is literally a sponge of knowledge. She can know a little bit about a system and intuitively figure out or understand the whole thing. She also never forgets anything. She has retained perfect memory of everything she has seen, heard, smelled, and touched since her powers emerged. She doesn't have muscle mimicry, but she has amazing muscle memory. An example of her ability would be that someone could teach her a few words in Japanese, and all of a sudden, she would find herself entirely fluent in the language.

Haylee Lynn Park (Haylee)
Alpha | 1
Aerokinesis or the control and manipulation of air. Haylee can cause air currents to move at different speeds, change the the direction of the currents, and move the currents to create an absence or extremely heavy amount of air. This can be used to levitate objects, others, and herself. Her ability gives her a slight resistance to changes in air quality and pressure, but she still can get hurt from high speed winds and things of that nature.

Jamie Winston Katsun (Jamie)
Delta | 1
Jamie subconsciously understands what others mean. That is to say, he understands all other languages including animals and body language. Just because he understands a language doesn't necessarily mean he is able to speak it.

Steele Chisulo (Steel)
Beta | 3
Steele has enhanced strength. He has a level of physical strength higher than normally possible given his proportions. His strength grows as he trains, but certain materials feel different to him. Gold is incredibly light while iron is extremely heavy.

Kaelah Laurentium (Kay)
Alpha | 2
Kay has control over the flow of time. She cannot move it backwards, but she can pause and slow it at will. Maybe she will eventually be able to speed it up in her timeframe, but so far she cannot. Right now she can't pause it for very long either.

s•u•n•s•h•i•n•e «§KENZ§» | 246 comments (continued)

Ellison Danielle Rhett (Enlai Min) (Elle)
Alpha (potentially Omega) | 3
Elle has the power to superficially manipulate reality. Nothing permanent, but she could change it so it would look and feel real to someone. She cannot affect people.

(view spoiler)

s•u•n•s•h•i•n•e «§KENZ§» | 246 comments Classes (borrowed from Marvel; sources: a, b, c, d):

OMEGA

The Omega class is made up of those who have immensely powerful abilities, capable of wide-scale effects. Some are able to change their physical body into another state, but they most often have almost infinite control over some form of matter or energy. They do not develop inhuman features along with their ability, but many find it difficult to function in normal human society.

ALPHA

The Alpha class is made up of those who have powerful abilities that can be turned off or otherwise controlled. They do not develop inhuman features along with their ability, and are perfectly able to pass as humans. While not all in this class are able to function in normal human society, many find they are able to do so.

BETA

The Beta class is made of up those who have powerful abilities that either cannot be turned off, or cannot be completely controlled. While they can still pass as human, and can usually function in normal human society, they occasionally develop minor inhuman physical features, small things only noticeable on careful examination.

GAMMA

The Gamma class is made up of those who have powerful, often uncontrollable abilities, but also have inhuman features developed in addition to their ability. They cannot take part in normal society, due to their appearance. In fact, many are unable to pass as human.

DELTA

The Delta class is made up of those who have weaker—though still controllable—abilities and who can function in normal society, as they do not develop inhuman features with their ability. Their abilities are not obvious; an observer would not be able to see their ability in use.

EPSILON

The Epsilon class is made up of those who have little to no real ability at all, and often develop inhuman physical features as part of their ability. The abilities of some may even be self-detrimental. Once their abilities develop, they often find they cannot take part in normal society.

ZETA

The Zeta class is made up of those who lack an ability, but have a blood relation to someone who does; meaning, they likely share the same genetic material that grants an ability. Underage siblings of those who have developed abilities are considered Zetas as it is uncertain whether or not they will have an ability develop.

s•u•n•s•h•i•n•e «§KENZ§» | 246 comments Levels (developed by Karina&co.):

temporary

1. AWAKENING
Newly realized abilities with absolutely no control.
2. INHIBITION
Learning how to simply stop ones powers from getting to hectic and causing damage or injury.
3. CONTROL
Learning to both contain one's power as well as to release it in specific amounts.
4. GROWING
Tapping into unrealized potential in order to expand one's power while still maintaining control.
5. MASTERY
Control over one's abilities completely. Not only will it be complete mastery, but level five will also develop their own unique technique that is special and significant to them as an individual.

s•u•n•s•h•i•n•e «§KENZ§» | 246 comments So for Steele, I'm thinking level 2 or 3, and... figuring out class still. Ideas?

๖ۣۜSαᴙαh ๖ۣۜMᴄĄłłiƨʈeʀ (inked_chinadoll) Delta?

s•u•n•s•h•i•n•e «§KENZ§» | 246 comments Someone could see him holding up a building, though I think. I don't know if that counts or not....

s•u•n•s•h•i•n•e «§KENZ§» | 246 comments I think Kay is level 2, but again, not sure on class.

message 9: by Fenestra (new)

Fenestra | 10 comments Could I propose that Ellison be level 4 or 3?

I think I want her to have control of her power, but maybe be unable to fully extend what I'll refer to as the illusion to its full potential of affecting all five senses. I want Elle to really struggle with sense of touch. Possibly smell too.

message 10: by ๖ۣۜSαᴙαh (new)

๖ۣۜSαᴙαh ๖ۣۜMᴄĄłłiƨʈeʀ (inked_chinadoll) She's probably too young to be at level 4. Most kids develop their powers at 17....

message 11: by Fenestra (new)

Fenestra | 10 comments Maybe three then. I think Elle would also have control maintaining the illusion for extended periods of time if it's supposed to be such a phenomenological experience.

message 12: by ๖ۣۜSαᴙαh (new)

๖ۣۜSαᴙαh ๖ۣۜMᴄĄłłiƨʈeʀ (inked_chinadoll) I don't see why that should be a problem. :) But it's up to Sunshine, of course.

message 13: by Fenestra (new)

Fenestra | 10 comments Certainly! :D

s•u•n•s•h•i•n•e «§KENZ§» | 246 comments Level 3 sounds fine. What class is she?

(Could I get some help with Steele and Kaelah as well please?)

message 15: by Fenestra (new)

Fenestra | 10 comments I guess she would be Alpha.

And certainly!

message 16: by Fenestra (new)

Fenestra | 10 comments Would Steele's unusual muscle mass count as an inhuman feature?

s•u•n•s•h•i•n•e «§KENZ§» | 246 comments I don't think so. After all, he is a body builder...

s•u•n•s•h•i•n•e «§KENZ§» | 246 comments I put Alpha (potentially Omega) for Elle. It is a crazy ability, and I think it is Alpha at the least, and depending on how she grows, could be super-powerful.

message 19: by Fenestra (new)

Fenestra | 10 comments Just checking! I would think that since Steele's ability cannot be turned off he would be Omega.

s•u•n•s•h•i•n•e «§KENZ§» | 246 comments I don't think it's that strong, because Omega is like crazy-powerful abilities and he is much too limited... Beta or Alpha, possibly even Delta?

s•u•n•s•h•i•n•e «§KENZ§» | 246 comments I think Kaelah is at least Alpha though...

message 22: by ๖ۣۜSαᴙαh (new)

๖ۣۜSαᴙαh ๖ۣۜMᴄĄłłiƨʈeʀ (inked_chinadoll) Yeah, I'd agree that Kaelah is Alpha and Steele might be Beta.

message 23: by Fenestra (last edited Dec 28, 2013 12:40PM) (new)

Fenestra | 10 comments Perhaps. I definitely agree that Kay is Alpha. And I would agree Beta fits better for Steele.

message 25: by Fenestra (new)

Fenestra | 10 comments Of course, anything for you, Kenz!
