i don't think they should hire actors for this film,in the books there's so much stressing on how beautiful Christian is, and the way he sees Anna is in the same light,so the actors should be extraordinarily beautiful too!! but that's casting for you!

Okay...everyone knows I was not a fan of the books but with my girlfriends loving it I'm going to have to see the movie. With that said I would LOVE some eye candy James Scott or Matt Bomer would fit the bill and look delicious in suits.

I have 3 people in mind. Ian Somerhalder has the good looks and smoldering eyes to pull it off. Chase Crawford has the youthful pout and sexy attraction to draw any girl in. But for some odd reason, the one man that keeps running through my mind that truly looks the part is Gabriel Macht. I can't say I know much about him - but he looks more the Christian Grey I envisioned.

I think anyone who read the original Fan Fic version knows who EL James pictured as Christian Grey when she wrote it ;) Don't think I could be bothered to see the film in any case !

I have from day one wanted Matt Bomer to play the role. I think he is absolutely perfect, and is exactly what I envisioned. So when they announced Charlie Hunnam for the role, I was a bit pissed.. But i checked out all of his movies and tv-shows and after that i kind off began seeing him as Christian.
And now... I just.. I don't... I'm so disappointed.

Matt Bomer is the perfect choice for Christian Grey. He's got that look of perfect innocence about him and that's the exact vibe I got from the book. There should be no hint of what lays underneath in his appearance. Jamie Dornan has that innocence but there's also an...edge...to his looks. Personally, I wouldn't have pegged him as a Christian Grey in a million years. I'm actually curious about how he'll perform.

I think it's really difficult to find a man one've pictured as Christian Grey simply because he's the perfect man one has imagined while reading and we all know how difficult or practically impossible to find the perfect man is..maybe I would pick Ian Somerhalder or Zac Efron to my point to view..

I also agree that it would be very difficult to cast Christan Grey.. I prefer dark hair in my men and Ian Somerhalder or George Clooney depending on the age of Christan. Now I hadn't thought of Teddy Sears and he is yummy in True Blood. mmmmmmmmm such a decision

Idk how Ryan Gosling would look with dark hair but I've been envisioning him HARD ever since I got a look at the actor they actually cast. No offense, but he's supposed to be striking! Matt Bomer is a good suggestion also. Or find an unknown

I was disappointed when they announced Charlie Hunnam casted as Christian Grey for the film... Although after my new and current obsession with Sons of Anarchy I think he would have been perfect and am now extremely disappointed that he back out. I'm not familiar with the current actor that is playing him so we'll see. I also think Ryan Gosling would have been an excellent choice..
