I really enjoyed reading Schmidtr's review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... And then I realized that Suzanne Young co-wrote Just Like Fate: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... Has anyone read it? As the title implies, fate plays a big role in the book. It asks, "How much do your decisions determine the outcome of your life? Can you choose to change your path, or is it set for you, no matter the choices you make?" Just Like Fate takes this into a sort of Twilight Zone-y sci fi place, where two stories unfold at the same time, split off from a single incident. But the fact that fate and agency are major themes in these two works is interesting to me. I still need to finish The Program, but I'm excited to talk about it with you guys next week! -Heather
