Welcome to the challenge, Joni! You may read anything - regardless of whether we post it are not - that is released in 2014. If you get an ARC (Advanced Readers Copy) before anyone else, you may count it. If a book comes out in February 2014, but you read it in June 2014, it counts.

Nichole I read Hollow City The Second Novel of Miss Peregrine's Children (Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, #2) by Ransom Riggs for February and I loved it. I can't wait for the next one.

message 171: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 5067 comments new releases for March please! lol :)

message 172: by Lisarenee (new)

Lisarenee | 7659 comments They're coming. I just have to add book covers.

message 173: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 5067 comments cool! as if I need help! I just walk into my local bookshop...and voila!

message 174: by Lisarenee (new)

Lisarenee | 7659 comments This list is a doozy and we'll see if I can put in all the covers without going over the post limit. The GR system is slowing so I'll finish it off in the morning. The lag between trying to get a cover to come up and selecting it for the post is too much. Hopefully tomorrow will be quicker.

That was a good book. I loved the world building, but found the ending somewhat lacking/anti climatic. I thought it should have ended with Kate or her ex-fiance going to confront Kate's uncle and leaving us hanging as they say hello.

message 177: by Lisarenee (new)

Lisarenee | 7659 comments FYI, That was me up above.

I think the only thing that bothered me was that Volos turned out to be a real jerk. When he helped with the antipotion, I thought he was decent. Boy was I wrong
