I wonder how he'd feel about you renaming though, Davie darling.

I would imagine he'd wish he'd thought of it first.

Jim | 21809 comments I'm now left feeling utterly inadequate. I just get reviews after the book is out there. Where am I going wrong. About 2056 are my books going to be banned so they're forgotten when the time travellers start their journeys

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments From now on I shall do all my reviews from the future, and be a guaranteed trendsetter.

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments That is good to know, Rosemary. Would you be interested in reviewing the book I intend to release in 2023?

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments Already have *smirks"

Joo (jooo) | 1351 comments I've read a book that's not out yet. But I haven't done a review yet. So where am I in the timey wimey?

message 11: by David (new)

David Manuel | 1112 comments Rather than review one of my books, I'd rather time-travelers sent me some decent investment advice.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Third horse in the second race.

Don't tell anyone I told you.

LOL. So, "Baku" is really a euphemism for the future?

message 14: by David (new)

David Hadley So, that's how you can tell Doctor Who is fiction - he doesn't do any book reviews.

He's too busy saving the universe and flirting with his companions

I suppose that is better than flirting with the universe, some of those planets never phone like they promised they would.

Yeah, y'know, you go into orbit around them, give 'em a bit of radio chatter, back and forth, but as soon as you want to launch a probe, suddenly they've got a star they've been orbiting for millennia, and they've had a moon or two together, and, well... you know how it is....

Jim | 21809 comments I should probably get out more :-(

OMG I finally understand what Kubrick was getting at in 2001 A Space Odyssey!

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Went straight over my head.

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments Mine too. Fell asleep

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments You shouldn't have necked the gin Nosemanny.

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments I suspect only gin could improve 2001. Or sleeping through it

David Manuel | 1112 comments "Maybe you should take a stress pill, Dave."

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Right then. If I don't recognise it as a masterpiece, I'm ignorant as I don't know 'what it's really about'?

Is my life lessened by not being astounded?

Do I even give a shit?

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments David wrote: ""Maybe you should take a stress pill, Dave.""

I think I need to take a stress pill, Dave.

Don't we all from time to time! The best advice HAL 9000 ever gave (and the last).
