We also are finishing new series, so, what better time to plan our to be read series during 2014?

If there is another one you want to start, this is the place to ask for it.

For Series Reads books that have a stand-alone thread, current books in a series will remain under the “Featured Series Read” folder. In addition, upcoming books in the series for the current and upcoming month will appear in this folder. Their bookcovers will also appear under “Upcoming Buddy Reads.” About a week after the book is finished we’ll move the thread to its respective Author folder.

Please note that some “Featured Series Reads” have a single generic discussion thread for all books in a series; those will remain under the “Featured Series Reads” folder.

Sounds like a plan to me. I need a good series to keep me calm till the release of Magic Breaks.

Would anyone be interested in The Infernal Devices series? I'm not sure if that's be done yet, but I've heard really good things about it (especially past book 1).

We could do that one. I've heard that is better than the mortal instruments, and we get more Magnus Bane :o)

(Yes, I'm a bit miffed because I has so much expectations for the Bane Chronicles and I didn't like vol 1)

I read Halfway to the Grave a month or so ago and LOVED it! I would love to keep reading the series as a buddy read. I think you Kate Daniels fans will love it.

I finished the Infernal Devices trilogy last night and it made me cry, which I think is always a good indication that a book/series really hooked me. Highly recommend!

I love the series books when I can get them on audio as it makes it easy for me to pick a download from the library for my commute!

I'm not sure. But if it has, is a great time to get Gin back to the spotlight.

I read the first three, but will happily join for Tangled Threads. So, what do you prefer? a book a month, or a common thread like with Dresden.

OK my pretties, was a 2010 BOM, and some of the series books were already read, plus Lisarenee did some great overview thread with a schematic of Gin's family and the bad guys.

We are getting the spider back!!! (As soon as my imagination provides a pun intended cool name, like the revamped one from the VA series)

OMG I didn't even get the revamped reference until just now. OH SO SAD LOGAN.

But yay to getting the spider!! I'm fine with either format, though I feel like since most people read their own pace anyway, the open thread like Dresden is probably more fun/easy for folks to join.

NancyHelen and myself are going to do a series buddy read of James Patterson's Women's Murder Club. We do not have a set start date yet but most likely sometime in mid-November. Should I wait until we know the date for sure before requesting a thread set up or can this count as my request? Also not sure of the type of buddy read yet (read-as-you-go, one book a month, etc).
