Matched trilogy. Can you spell over hyped? Also inkworld trilogy. Very over hyped

The Fault In Our Stars. It pains me to say it but I guess I was expecting something else. It was a good book and I did like it but I didn't LOVE it.Also Mockingjay. The ending was too rushed. It deserved more.
Carina wrote: "Harry Potter"Are you saying all of Harry Potter? I loved the story but I will say I didn't care for book 3 and 5. They felt like filler which I'm fine with if I'm entertained but the Ron, Harry, Hermione got a little grating. That said books 4 and 6 I thought were spectacular; well paced and very fun to read...
There is so much hype on that series though it is interesting to see what we would think if someone just handed the book to us with no idea what it was about...
I liked all the Harry Potter books. My favorite are 3 and 4.

Oh, what in particular didn't you like about it - the pacing of the plot, the characters, the style?
One book that DIDN'T live up to my expectations was the last Artemis Fowl book, it was entertaining and fun, but I expected something different (view spoiler)
I have a few books that didn't live up to my expectations:
Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
The Hunger Games Trilogy
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
Beautiful Creatures (Actually all the books)
Vampire Academy Series.

THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS. Everyone was raving about this book, so imagine my disappointment when I realized I had already read everything in the CoB, except in a different writing style, with different characters, and between different covers. Love triangle with one guy you just met and one guy you've known forever. Parents part of a world hidden within our own. Girl sees things nobody else can. Been there, read that. The Twilight Romance didn't help, and it's a complete ripoff of Harry Potter and maybe Star Wars. Mockingjay - the Hunger Games was amazing, Catching Fire was okay, Mockingjay was boring and sad.
Insurgent - here's a summary...
Tris: YOL-
Tobias: No.
Just my opinion.

Totally agree with you, Edward is a STALKER, it has been proven also that he made Bella become part of an ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP

I saw a thing on Pinterest where book characters like Tris and Katniss were saying what great boyfriends they had and the sweet things they've done for them while Bella's said "he gives me bruises in bed" and all the girls move. Stupidest thing ever. My friend told me to read it and I said no. He does stalk her! Ikr she does!
There was a picture describing if the fandom a got into a fight and it said "Twilight: you will lose. Accept that fact."
