SOLVED. Quirky Middle-grade book about a wierd school on top of a library??? [s]

Does anyone know this book? I read it a while ago. It was about this girl and her really smart uncle (but the uncle was younger than her...some wierd family things or something.) I also remeber that there was one person who worked at the school who only talked in rhymes. Oh! The school was on top of a library. I remeber really likeing this book, and I really want to re-read it.There was a really creepy student there who was the princibles son,and ya...Do you know this book? Thanks!!!!

No, the girl wasn't an orphan. The school was weird because they were obsessed with good grades (it was a school for gifted kids...forgot to mention that-but the girl isn't gifted, only her uncle) and I the end someone was murdered I think. L, it was a weird book...
