Well, I'm only a quarter through it and so far the story has been depressing because of accidents and stuff but I reckon it might get more interesting as it develops! ^^
Hi! Its been two days I guess. Anyways, I've read two books within these two days, Wrecked and The Fault In Our Stars! Wrecked, as I said, was depressing initially but it got better. However, the only thing that I thought was off was that the romance between the main characters were too rushed. It was a good romance though, if I might say!For The Fault in Our Stars, it is simply amazing! Best non-fantasy book I've ever read in my entire life.
I'm reading the Matched series by Ally Condie, I just got done with the Mara Dyer Books by Michelle Hodkin, I cannot wait for the third book to come out! I fell in love with the first two books, I read them both nonstop in one day!! :)
Lindsay: I actually had a chance to meet Ally Condie when she went on tour this year for the third Matched novel. I hadn't read any of the books in the trilogy yet, though, so I didn't attend the event. If I've read one or two the next time she tours, that might be a different story. :-)
Thats pretty awesome, they are good so far, but a little slow paced for me, and the whole book sort of reminds me of the Giver by Lois Lowry. I just started getting back into reading again, I've never had the chance to meet an author, but I think it would be a really interesting experience.
I'm reading Miracle on 49th Street by Mike Lupica. He's a consistently good writer, and I've planned on reading Miracle on 49th Street in the days leading up to Christmas 2013 for a while now.
I am currently reading:
and
. I have to get busy and read, I put my personal reading goal to 125 books for the year.
Right now I'm reading The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.I was reading it online so I kinda lost track of the page I was on and haven't gotten back to it for a while, but
it's really interesting so hopefully I'll be able to read it again soon.

Im reading Angelfire right now by Courtney Allison Moulton. I just started, so havent made my mind up just yet if i enjoy the series yet or not. I finished AngelFall and WorldAfter by Susan Ee the other day! Now those were excellent and I cannot wait til the third book is released. I tried to find a date for it, but it looks like either she gave a release date, and then maybe retracted it..

I've never seen the movie(s), because I didn't want to be constantly comparing the two (book v.s. movie) while reading. It's super good, though!
Just found my page a few days ago and jumped right back into it, and it's got me hooked all over again.
It's one of those books that immerses you into the story and you feel like you can't get out of it until it's completely finished. I'm sure you will love it! :)
those are the best books, you block out everything around you and just get sucked in to the story. I wish Angelfire was liked that, I'm on the second book, and I'm starting to get more and more disappointed as the story progresses. I've stuck through it so far, though, might as well finish it.
True, very true.I tend to lose track of time in those kinds of books for that very reason.
So you really liked the first book? It has good ratings on here. I mean, it's either going to be really good or really bad with sequels, since they come with great expectations. If that's the last one then yeah, finish it. I usually just put it down and find another book, though, since I don't like wasting my time on a book I already know I don't like. :K
Just finished The Savages which was a very dark humored book about a family who eats humans.I'm starting The Cavendish Home for Boys and Girls later on today. I'm really excited to read it finally!
I'm currently reading This is Not a Test by Courtney Summers. I've also been reading The House of Hades for some time now and haven't been able to finish as fast because it is an ebook. There seems to be a dramatic effect on my reading when it is not on paper *le sigh*
I seem to finish ebooks faster, than I do paper books. its not the same, nothing beats having the actually book in your hands, but ebooks I zoom through for some reason. unless its messed up, I've noticed a lot of mine have issues, for example Eden by Jamie McGuire, any word that had a double l in it, like 'called' or 'illusions' the second l would always be missing. so it would be 'cal ed' or 'il usions' .... I did not enjoy Providence by her at all... the second book of the series "Requiem" was better, and "Eden" was great. you could definitely see her becoming comfortable with her writing as the series progressed. I just started "Sweet Evil" by Wendy Higgins tonight. just read the prologue, so not sure how I feel about it just yet. Wanted to start the Robert Langdon bundle, but want to save them for now.
Im only into the first 100 pages so far so its hard for me to say but so far I'm really liking the idea of the story! I will let you know when I finish!
