imprints when manually adding editions

Where do i put information on an imprint? I found the librarian manual unclear about whether i put this info under "publisher" and/or "edition".

The book i am entering is a Flamingo imprint of Fontana Paperbacks...

Policy is to put the most specific publishing information for a book in the publisher field.

Which is more specific; the imprint name or publisher's name? It may be a stupid question but i find this unclear.

Imprint is more specific. Imprints belong to a larger publishing house.
