R.L. Craven | 23 comments Has anyone watched this? Though it is targeted towards a younger audience, I understand it's good enough to keep an older audience interested. It's supposed to be quite suspenseful.

Here's a trailer:

Paganalexandria | 4065 comments I haven't watched anything on that channel since that gymnastics show Make It or Break It got cancelled. This sounds interesting.

I heard that it's pretty good.

Paganalexandria | 4065 comments I don't know why it's easy for me to get invested in a TV show or movie with youngish characters, but hate reading about them. I love Gossip Girl and Vampire Diaries, but couldn't pay me enough to read them.

Lisa Geneva Riley (lisag22) | 82 comments Maybe because it's more painful and time-consuming to actually read through all the whining that they usually do than it is to watch it...just kidding.

You're kidding, but that might be dead on. LOL Plus it's easy to get lost in the pretty people and sets.

The FountainPenDiva, Old school geek chick and lover of teddy bears (thefountainpendiva) | 1216 comments Wow. This is from ABC Family? Geez, the high school and the town is like DIVERSE. The black girl may be the love interest? The fangirls are gonna shit bricks. Time to bring the fail, lol. I may watch this, but I'm not expecting much. And there's a bit of similarity to I Hunt Killers.

TinaNoir | 1456 comments I watched a couple of episode but it became clear they were not interested in telling a good, logical story.

And I felt like there was a bit of bait and switch. The three main characters were marketed initially as if they were somewhat equal, but in fact as you watch you realize that the show really only interested in Jo's (the white female) POV. She gets the sympathy edit and the show feels like it is forcing you to identify with her.

I followed some boards on it after I stopped watching and was glad I did because people began to talk about how more marginalized they felt Lacey's character had become and how they felt she was being disrespected in the writing.

The character has some major fans who are vocal in their upset in the direction the show has gone in re: her character. They got a new showrunner for the back half of the season so maybe it will get better/.

Tisha | 45 comments I haven't watched any tv shows where the main characters are teenagers/high shcoolers since I left school a couple of years ago, but I made an execption for that show. I thought the premise was interesting and the main character Danny is gorgeous (lol). I was surprised by how good it was at first. The story was very intriguing. Plus, the object of Danny's affection is a BW. But as the show progressed, It became obvious that some elements were lacking and they were focusing too much on one character's pov. Since I wasn't expecting much form the show except for eye-candy, I can't really complain. But I wish they would give some more backstory to the BW (AKA Lacey). ANyways, I'll still be watching the show when it comes back.

Can't say that I've seen the show yet, but thanks to those of you who have seen it and made comments here. I also can't say I'm surprised by the things you've said, Tina.
