Harry knew that his parents were magical? Or is his not knowing about his parent's identity for 11 years crucial to the overall plot?

Actually Bella isn't weak or helpless she's strong and brave! She was upset because Edward was her true love. Hermione and Ron weren't even dating at that point so your argument is unvalid.
