Even though it swas not satisfying,i feel this ending was a change from all the other generic endings in books.

I am satisfied with the ending. I still want a sequel.

the very end of the ending gives a little hope,I was so stunned when I closed the book! but guys, I wouldn't want a sequel it's just perfect! it makes you wonder and hope... the feels reach a climax!

She loves him. Always will. They will never be together again. Or maybe they will. Who knows? That's life.

Personally, I didn't like the ending. I felt like the book had a kind of mellow pace throughout the first 2 thirds and I feel like so much was crammed into the last hundred pages or so for such a vague-ish ending. I do like how the author kind of leaves what happens afterwards down to you, but in the way the narrative is told I don't think it really works with this book (don't h8 me)

The ending was perfect, just as it was. It was a teen romance about a first love. First love is not supposed to go on forever or be the only love. It was the best possible realistic ending to a realistic love story. "I love you." It doesn't need the author to state it. Park's happiness makes it obvious what was said.

And as we all argue over what those three words are, I tip my hat to Rainbow Rowell, and say: "Well played, Rainbow. Well played."

Liked the ending, but of course I think the words were I love you! Just did a blog post on this book today, lol.

I read this book late last year and loved it. However, my heart ached for Park for days after finishing.

Those three words were obviously I LOVE YOU. What else could they be? And I think that's a great ending because it suggests a possibility that they have a future together. Rowell has said this is the only book she ever considered writing a sequel to, so maybe that will happen...

No, it was too up in the air. It is unfinished.

Why does every one think she said "I love you"? I thought she said "nothing ever ends" like how Watchmen ended.

Heimen Impossible because as stated in the book, the ending of Watchmen was about three months after she left Omaha. Besides, why would she write something l ...more

I don't need a sequel. I just want to know what the freak were the three words?!?!!!

I don't believe Eleanor would write I love you on a postcard that could be read by his parents and brother. She would write something clever and funny.
