Tiffany | 36 comments Ok, this is my first year using goodreads. I just realized that Amazon also has a "best books of 2013" list as goodreads does. I'm curious, are there any other websites that rate books? I guess the New York Times also has a bestsellers list. Any more sites?
I looove goodreads and am so glad to have found it!! :)

Hilary Evans (hilevans83) | 4 comments LibraryThing and Shelfari are two other sites like goodreads that allow you to enter the books you have read or want to read, as well as allow you to see others' reviews and browse different categories and types of books. They are pretty cool. I use GoodReads to enter my book collection and participate in groups, but I like the others when I want more information about a book or want to find more specialized groups.

I used to like Shelfari, but it's a bit dead now...

I think it's not not managed to get readers talking, mainly. I think Shelfari should become an information and review site. As they call themselves an 'encyclopaedia' of books, as Goodreads is clearly more active and has more stimulating features as a forum...
