Hello! Pasingit!Mas type ko Hitchhiker's na lang hehe (bilang less nakakadugo basahin yon) I have Dune but still intimidated to start, parang Hyperion ang dating. Tas Ender's Game ay ahm parang nakakatamad basahin yung second book :)
Also possible. I'm actually watch a docu about him, part of NG's "prophets of science fiction" series. Interesting.
I will lurk with you if you decide to read hitchhiker's. Read and reread the trilogy (that has 5 books). It would be fun to relive its humor.I're read ender's game so I might catch up with you if you decide to read ender's shadow. Rollie read the whole series and said that ender's shadow was better than ender's game. He has read the whole series so there.
I am also afraid to start dune because it might ruin my reading plan because they are quite long.
This is not really hard sci-fi (includes a bit of fantasy) but Brian Vaughan’s Saga (graphic novel) is also pretty good. :) I’ve read the first book of HHGG & Ender’s game before, might join you guys for the next books & possibly Dune.
Looks like enough people to start something!First thru third choices please, mine are:
1. Ender's game
2. Dune
3. HHGG
Lol! Ranee! Yes, I find Shadow better than Game because I read first the Shadow, albeit, majority who read both books find the Game better. Weighing up both series, I prefer Shadow Series to be better, though, it'd still depend on reader's taste. I love Speaker For The Dead. Those who admire Ender should go forward on reading it.I love Dune and it's still one of the best books I've read so far. I already read also HHGG. :)
