Characters You've Hated!
I'm going to be reading Gone here in just a couple of days for the first time. I hope it's good, cause I'm really only reading it to finish up the Banner Challenge...
I. Can't. Stand. Warner. I'm just saying, he's a manipulative jerk. I know some of you Warner fans will be all, "Oh, but he's so perfect for Juliette, blah blah blah." Fair enough But he's still a jerk. >.>

I don't like Cassandra Clare's Clary and Tessa. I found them annoying, selfish, whiny and quite boring. when reading their books I was more interested in secondaty characters than them.

I don't think they bothered me that much, but I can definitely see how you would think that. There were definitely times I just wanted to smack Clary.

I think we can safely add Malfoy to the list, too. I loved to hate him. The books just wouldn't have been the same without him. :3
Joanne♥~Bookworm Extraordinaire wrote: "I hated Umbrigde from Harry Potter. I wanted to go into the book and punch her in the face."Punch her? I wanted to torture her! I wanted her staked, crushed and burned! I wanted to see the lights leave her eyes! (Sorry, can't help it.)
Megan wrote: "I can't stand Dabria and Marcie from the Hush Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick."Ditto.
Dudley. I hated Dudley. I don't care if he changed his attitude toward Harry at the end. And Aunt Marge too: she needs to die. Also, Indie from the Matched series pissed me off on multiple occasions.
Jenny from Delirium. Lena's Aunt too. Burn them all.
- Grace from Shiver. She seems so resigned with everything.- Jeanine Matthews from Divergent. She makes me want throw the book and scream out loud!
I disliked Anna from Anna and the French Kiss. I disliked Lena from Delirium. I disliked Emma's aunt and uncle in Reason to Breathe.
In the current series I'm in, "House of Night", "the twins", Shaunee and Erin, drive me absolutely insane. Actually, I haven't liked the main character, Zoey, until the 4th book. Haha
Brittany wrote: "Riya wrote: "Shay (Uglies)"She WAS really annoying. >.>"
Yeah...honestly I just wish she had been left out of the entire series...

hate Warner. he is a useless villain.hate Juliette too.

Blake from LuxAdam from Shatter Me (I'm 100% Team Warner!!!!)
Umbridge from Harry Potter
Queen Levana from Lunar Chronicles
Riya-Same. I mean he's alright but probably my least favorite in TMI. He's not a good main character
Jordyn wrote: "Riya-Same. I mean he's alright but probably my least favorite in TMI. He's not a good main character"FINALLY- someone who agrees!!! Like he wouldn't be terrible if it wasn't for the fact that the's one of the most important characters (and Clary's actually worse in my opinion).
Yeah exactly! Like his story is interstin fans he can be kind of funny but him and Clary together is just...and he would be better if he wasn't one of the main characters. I would LOVE if Alec were a bigger character!!!! Yeah Clary is a little better than Jace in my opinion but still I love Izzy waaaay better

Haha! I loved Izzy(: and I liked Simon also but not enough to be a main character. How about Alec? Did you like him? He is definitely my favorite of the book. And him and Magnus are one of my favorite couples ever!!!
Yeah Simon wouldn't be that great a main character- but Izzy would!!! And yeah I loved Alec in the first book, and liked him in the second- but not as much. I'm not really a Magnus fan??? :(
Nope and aah really? I just love how Magnus is literally in every situations somehow. And how he's in TMI and TID and his story is pretty cool!
Jessica from the Sweet Valley Twins series; Elizabeth was a Mary Sue, but at least she was a likable one.
Bellatrix and Umbridge from the Harry Potter Series
I second Drake from Gone. Ugh.
Bree from the Sweep series. The two-timing, jealous, former-best-friend-to-the-MC, anyone?

Tris from Divergent. The self sacrificing tendencies get old really fast. And then I just felt like when it actually worked, it wasn't meaningful for the readers.

And that's why I don't like him- if he's so old wouldn't he already have found someone who's closer to his age/maturity than Alec?
Lade wrote: "I just finished Gone Girl. Amy. I don't think I hate her, she's just a really despicable person"That's a very fair assessment!
I liked Amy! I mean she's a psycho but a VERY BRILLIANT psycho! Who could think of the things she did??? So clever.
