I was reading a book today that mentioned malapropisms and spoonerisms. While I'm familiar with malaprops, I have never heard of spoonerisms before.
But in a really weird bit of synchronicity, today's Merriam Webster Word of the Day is:
spoonerism
noun | SPOO-nuh-riz-um
Definition
: a transposition of usually initial sounds of two or more words (as in tons of soil for sons of toil)

Yes, I am well impressed with what he did with it.

Question. None of you live near me so this will be fun. I have the day off and I’m hungry for lunch. Where should I go? What sounds good? I want to pick it up and come home to eat it.

Becky wrote: "No kidding. "Oh you're happy? Must be too stupid to understand why you shouldn't be.""Right?
Like, dude, I'm depressed enough. Let me be happy for 5 fucking minutes. LOL

I went out in search of Chinese and ended up at Litza’s pizza. *shrug* My parents have the child tonight so it’s date night. I’m going to make my husband get Chinese. I win both ways!!
I resemble that. A lot. Especially recently whenever anyone asks me what I'm reading, since it's usually social justice-based nonfiction... yet I can't and don't want to stop reading it either.
At least non-fiction is, well, non-fiction. I get irrationally angry and/or sad by fake people more than I do for real people sometimes... :-/
Well, the sad part. Not the angry part. Real people make me plenty angry.
For sure. I was more referring to the "This is how I relax" panel. LOLBecause it makes no sense. Yet here we are!

First thought - as a (mostly) Scorpio, I'm glad to have a list that isn't "Scorpio is violent" or "Scorpio is a giant sex fiend".
Second thought - I have given 5-stars! Just... not very many of them. Because they have to mean something, damnit! ^_^

Sometimes I subconsciously DNF - as in, put the book down and then forget about it. But sooner or later, it niggles at me to try again. That's one of the reasons I wish I read at a faster pace; to put books out of their misery. The other is so that I can read what I have to read and still have time to read what I want to read.
Libra. I feel shitty if I don't finish, but don't lie about it. Hell, im the guy that reads acknowledgement sections or the appendices.
