Fascinating. :D"
Well... I mean I SEE the blue - like a light blue, but my brain tells me it's supposed to be white and that the camera is just tinting the image because of the lighting or something.

Even in this comparison shot, which lightens and darkens the picture, I don't see white and gold. At most I see periwinkle and bronze.

I iz confuzzled."
Yes, it's been blowing up the internet since last night (at least).

I don't understand what the object of this exercise is. LOL"
It just shows how different people see the same things differently, I guess.

I have no idea what, if anything, that means.

^This. I see black and blue. Always. *boggled*

LOL

That's what I said to Jeremy! If it was just me and one other person, I would seriously think I was being gaslighted.

Ahh... I see. LOL

but do I see the same color blue that others see?
;)
I have another interesting issue with my perception. I wonder if anyone else has noticed the bumps on the moon, rather than craters.
;)
Most seem to see concave images, but I have too concentrate to see them that way.

That one also gets me philosophically.
I can make myself see both concave and convex on the same picture.

After staring at it for a few, i can see either side either way. Its like that spinning ballerina silhouette that goes clockwise/counterclockwise at will.

A lot concentration (blinking fast, sometimes helps), and I can see the craters as concave. I had a class years ago and the teacher asked for a show of hands. There were about 3 of us in a group of about 15.
Both pictures look convex me, by way. The one on the left seems a little more fuzzy or softer.

So, everybody knows Rule #34 of the Internet:
If it exists, there is porn of it.
In that vein, I give you: Pounded By The Gay Color Changing Dress

While I see their point on firing her - that was not approved - JAIL TIME?? WTF, really??!

However, having said that, it depends on how the enforceable statute for "disseminating harmful matter to juveniles" is written and the level of crime and enforceable penalties. Ignorance of the law is not a valid defense. Unfortunately, no one can guarantee that stupid laws were not enacted by ignorant people. Gotta love those laws/penalties that place emotional outrage over common sense. I mean, we live in a country where you can deliberately take another person's life and get less time than someone carrying a large amount of pot unknowingly near a school.
I am curious, how does one end up showing a movie to a class and not noticing that the content is not appropriate??? And continuing to show it in class after class?

I never took driver's ed, so didn't have to deal with those. I do remember this video in grade school showing us all these horrific ways of kids dying - by, like, walking on the train tracks or touching electrical wires.
I was also scarred by the 'Miracle of Life'.

The conceptual opposite of the driver's ed. film, and somehow just as gruesome and scarring.

I didn't read all the comments but I someone said that the teacher watched it with the class. So...she knew it was OTT but didn't pull the DVD.
But still...she should only have been fired. Maybe no rehire available. And if push came to shove...a fine (or as I would call it, a Stupid Tax). But not jail time.

More than likely.
But I would have left the classroom (and gone to the library). Totally unable to handle horror.

I just made the decision to have my new kitten (the stray I took in last year) front declawed. I wasn't going to, but she is extremely destructive and a little violent with them. All of the curtains are ruined from her climbing them.. She wakes us up in the morning by latching onto our feet..
So the crazy or not crazy part...
I kind of want to buy all new curtains now. LOL. J thinks it's crazy, because that would be like $300 for cheap curtains ($30 per panel x 10 panels. Window treatments? EXPENSIVE). I think it might be crazy, but it also might be awesome, because the house would look nice again and not shredded.

Is there a way that you can keep her claws down without declawing her?
But I feel you on the curtains. I really want all new window treatments but hubby does not agree.

My cats have more furniture than I do, and we trained them what is OK to claw (their stuff) and what is not OK to claw (everything else). It can be done.
We also trim our cats' claws every month or so, because they get sooooooo long that it sounds like Alfie is wearing tap shoes as he walks through the house otherwise.
