And a dick."
Hubby agrees with you. But lately Sam has been the biggest dick to Dean. But that's a few years from where you are. IMO

Spent the whole weekend playing. Like... 16 hours. I read 0 pages. Winner!
And now I'm sitting at work, not wanting to work, wishing I were turn based destroying some baddies.
*sigh*
I got problems man.

Don't they know this is important?!?!?

Well, except for Words for Friends on the Nook. But that doesn't really take a lot of time. I was annoyed the other day when it wouldn't accept "darklord" as a word.

Hubby bought it too. He switches between that and the Tomb Raider reboot.
The FFX battle theme is becoming my lullaby, as it's usually one of the last things I hear before I go to sleep. :D

We played Uncharted a little - well, it's hard to play so hubby played and I watched. I was trying to play but he was flinching watching me not know how to use the controls, lol.

Me, too. He'll get more play out of this than I ever will.
Uncharted is more like Tomb Raider and I can't play Tomb Raider. I play the crap out of some Onimusha, though.

I know! I'm getting close to the end of Titan Quest and I really want to finish it up. Hopefully tonight.

So, where can I find a St. Louis Cardinals t-shirt for a four-year old that I can put any number I want on it? I believe 8 is the desired number right now.
I can find home ones, but they are white and I can only find them in a youth size which would be way too large for a way below average size four-year old.

Clueless...

I'm leaning towards looking for an Irish club since he was born in Newfoundland, but I might be stuck with the usual suspects (Man U, Liverpool) when it comes to sizing for him and the colour.

FIFA Rankings:
Ireland - 68
Canada - 112
I found a reasonable option for Manchester United and one for Barcelona, but that's about it as far as toddler sizing goes that I can get a number and maybe a name on.

I've only been using it a few days, but imagine if it had a whole year of data.. Think of all the graphs it could make!!! I love graphs...

For me it was when I finished Hobb's 'Fool's Fate'. Seriously - I have never been more of an emotional wreck after reading a book.

Haha...I do that too, which is usually why I end up reading books that I don't think I'll like as much first. Kind of a "saving the best for last" thing.
Of course, that just means that I end up reading crap books instead of ones that I'm really looking forward to.
I should rethink this habit. O_o

lol. Graphs

The same with Kvothe. He was a whinny bitch but damn he had a lot of bad things happen. After crying my way through 1/2 the book I was done. Got a headache, too.

I do exactly the same, I've started to realize that I'm wasting my time with less-then-awesome books...

I thought about this and went through the list. Any books that I wasn't excited enough to read in the next month I deleted.
I've found that when my To Read pile is really high I find it overwhelming. Now I'm keeping it at 100. If I add something over that, another book has to go.
It may seem strange, but I've had A LOT more 4-5 star experiences since doing this.

Am I the only one who imagines people playing soccer but yelling at each other in gaelic?
We have hurling in the states, but we don't consider it a good thing.

100 books on the TBR? Oh lord...I have almost 700. I couldn't cut it down that much. Hell, I'm doing good to keep my "upcoming reads" list under 100.

But there are a couple of authors who can just get under my skin. Kay is foremost among them, but Hobb also hit the ball out the park with the Farseer books. Though, sadly, not with anything since. Not that I haven't loved them as books, I just haven't had the same dear god you're breaking my heart reaction. "
WHen I say I'm a wussy, I'm not exaggerating at all. I'll cry over the right commercial...

I think I read once where reading engages your brain differently, and activates the more thought based/rational parts... so I don't know if there's any truth in that, but sometimes that's my theory.
I also find that I am more forgiving of movies for things like lack of character development.
If I'm reading an action book where it's mostly action and not much in the way of character stuff, it irks me - but I can accept it from a movie (though still get irked with TV shows). I think that's mostly an allowment for length/media limits.

Of course all the books I've been waiting on for ages are all going to come available at the same time.

This has happened to me so many times I no longer put more than two books on hold. Doesn't matter how many copies or how many people ahead of me. Seriously, it's like all those other people on the hold lists are like, "Haha, let's mess with her and cancel all our holds at once."
Because I've done the MATH for crying out loud and there's no way that should happen to me over and over.

I follow Fangs for Fantasy and they recently reviewed Masks by Karen Chance.
It was a very positive review with critical analysis from their specific POV. 4 Star review.
The author went all types of upset (it was 50 Shades of Excuses, lol! (see what I did there? Corny, but it made me laugh) over a 4 star review!!
I am...really flabbergasted and it sounded like a book I would have had some interest in...if I hadn't have read the hot mess I just read. A 4 star review causing a melt down.
Sometimes I feel like I need to stop following blogs. O_o

LOL!
I always get upset because I want to keep the books the entire 9 wks. But stupid people put holds on my books and then I have to return them.

Wait, what??
Let me get this right, she was upset from your 4 star review?? How is she going to take it if someone actually doesn't like the book??

Not my review - I just follow the blog.
The site's review. Fangs is a "social justice" review site specializing in Urban Fantasy (I'm not a TV watcher so I ignore the show reviews).
But yeah, she got upset. Blew me away because the review really praised most of the book and the reviewer said they basically ran out to buy it. :\

Sounds like the author needs to toughen up a bit or she probably wont last long...

I want to read a book, but its not on goodreads... this is a huge problem for me.
I don't think I can read it now... *sigh*
(GR addiction anyone?)
