Has anyone finished The Light Between Oceans yet? What did you think? I read it so long ago, I'll be lucky if I can remember it enough to discuss it. How I wish I took notes back then!

Linda | 190 comments I did take notes as I read it; thought it was a really good read. I'm totally bummed I'll miss the discussion! We need a new rule - only mediocre books can be read in my absence please.

That would be a great rule! We will surely miss you--you're Literazzi's backbone. Hope you have a wonderful trip though. And hope you don't freeze to death!

Linda | 190 comments I know! It'll be in the 50's Sunday, then move up to the low 60's. I've got my heavy fleece jacket out that I never get to wear here. Bisbee is a mile high. Wouldn't it be something if it snowed. It snowed us one year in Santa Fe and was gorgeous for about ten minutes, then too cold and wet. We're Calif wimps!

At our meeting yesterday at the Simi Valley Library, the average grade this book received was a 4.7 on a 5 point scale. It was a great discussion, lead by Cathy, and it's a very discussible book--lots of depth, themes, imagery, etc. I would really recommend it to other book clubs.
