Where do you come up with ideas for the different characters?

[Jessica]

I use reflections of people I know or have met. Phoebe, Grace's crazy sister, is based off my sister, Rachel. Annie is a compilation of many different women I've met who've struck me as kind yet kind of looney:) And the men ... well ... we'll leave that for the imagination;)

Where do you come up with the ideas for the different events in the book?

[Jessica]

The ideas mostly are made up in my head. No event in my book are based on anything real. It sounds crazy, but the characters basically write their own plot. I've never broken into a guy's house, drank his beer, or climbed in his bed, but maybe there's a part of me that wishes I had;)
