Summery: Mawata is Himeno Awayuki's stepsister and Mayuni Awayuki's full sister. Intelligent and composed, Mawata is the seemingly perfect child of the family. However, her outwardly calm demeanor is used as a facade to hide her loneliness.
Background: Mawata masked her own sense of loss after her father died to try and help her family. Intelligent and composed, Mawata is the seemingly perfect child of the family.
However, her outwardly calm demeanor is used as a facade to hide her loneliness and mask her own sense of loss as a result of her father's death. Her only outlet for her emotions are the postcards she sends to Sasame, under the pen name "Miss Silk". Ultimately, Mawata's grief is used by Fenrir to fuel the Great Tree of Fenrir.
Mayuni Awayuki
Summery: Mayuni is the same age as Himeno Awayuki. She often plays practical jokes on Himeno to demean her and tattles on her to her mother.
Background: Mayuni holds a pretentious attitude toward Himeno for coming from an impoverished family. Mayuni often plays practical jokes to demean Himeno, including tampering with the dining room chairs and setting traps throughout the mansion grounds.
Mayuni's spiteful attitude comes from her great jealousy of Himeno. By the end of the series however, Mayuni and Himeno reconcile after Himeno saves Mawata from the Great Tree of Fenrir.

Natsue Awayuki
Summery: A wealthy and powerful executive who married her crush Kaoru Awayuki after her divorce/death of her first husband. In the manga she only exposes her soft-side to Kaoru while dealing with everyone else with a strict decorum. In the anime, Natsue is never possessed by the Princess of Disaster, never shows any jealousy about Kaoru's late wife, and while strict with Himeno, also cares deeply for her.
Kaoru Awayuki
Summery: Kaoru Awayuki is a former author of romance novels and Himeno's father. In the anime adaptation, he is shown turning to sculpture after his marriage to Natsue.
Background: Before marrying Natsue, Kaoru spent much of his time drinking sake while Himeno balanced the budget and cooked their meals. He stopped writing due to Himeno's mother's death.
Tanaka
Summery: Mr. Tanaka is the Awayuki’s butler/chauffeur. Tanaka is constantly losing his hair, due to stress and Miss Natsue and Miss Mayuni's cruel treatment.
Background: He and Natsue used to go to school together, with Mr. Tanaka harboring a crush on Natsue while she pursued other interests. He once offered Natsue a ride, which lead to his employment as the Awayuki’s chauffeur.

All thats known is she is himeno's friend and is really imaginative and loves thinking big about love and kinda over egagerates.
Leafe knights and a little about them.
There are seven Leafé Knights total. Each Knight has control over his own element. There's Hayate(he gets a job to work for Himeno's father so he can keep a closer eye on her) the Leafé Kinght of Wind, who can make wind as sharp as blades and even create a sword made of wind. Sasame the Leafé Knight of Sound, who has amazing hearing and can make shockwaves out of sound. Go the Leafé Knight of Fire, who most of the time just throws fireballs. Kei the Leafé Knight of Light, who most of the time just throws balls of light. Mannen the Leafé Knight of Ice, who most of the time just freezes things to spite someone. Hajime the Leafé Knight of Water, who can create whips made out of water. And Shin the Leafé Knight of Wood/Plants, who (at least in the anime) can create containment fields to protect the world from getting damaged during a battle, and seal the evil Demon Larvae and Transport Demons.
Background:
The Prétear and protect the life essence on Earth and Leafenia called Leafé, with the help of the Leafé Knights, she must defeat the Princess Of Disaster and her Demon Larva.
Sixteen years ago, the seven Knights almost died trying to stop the Princess of Disaster. Mannen, Hajime, and Shin (adults then) did die, in order to stop her. The other Knights, had to heal themselves restoring what little Leafé they had in them. However, since their was no Pretear, there was no one to create more Leafé for Mannen, Hajime, and Shin. They had to be born again, and grow up like normal children, without any memory of their past lives.
A little about the Pretear:
As repeated many times throughout the series, Leafe is the source of all life. The Pretear is a young girl who is born with the power to create and manipulate Leafe, either by 'preting' with any of the seven Leafe Knights, or by becoming the 'White Pretear' by herself. It is not known how many Pretears were able to become the White Pretear.
The fundamentals of Leafe is that it exists within all living things, even where you wouldn't expect it to (the elements that each of the leafe knights control all have their own leafe). When a living thing is drained of all of it's leafe, it will die.
Hayate(he is the main leafe knight, he's kinda mean at first and argues alot with the pretear but secretly he just loves her. He pushes her away at first because of something that happened with the first pretear *described in takako's history*):

Kei(he is usually the computer wiz trying to create a thing that lets them know where the next demon larva will be and he is the first to give himeno's first lucky charm. He hides nothing) [image error]
Mannen(he's the little trouble maker, he's stubborn and often Go has to tell him lies about the missions he sends Mannen and the kids on because Mannen believes they arent missions for grown ups, but he is very responsible when it comes to fighting):
Hajime(Knight of Water, he is the second youngest member of the Leafe Knights. He is almost always seen with Mannen and Shin. When Himeno assumes Hajime's power, she can utilize the Water Flail.):
Shin(Shin is the youngest member of the Leafé Knights and the Knight of Wood/Plants. He can use his abilities to heal plants, and is very sensitive to anyone hurting them, crying when the knights discuss killing a tree that has been infected by a demon larva. Like the other two younger Knights, Shin died sixteen years ago while fighting the Princess of Disaster and was reborn. In the manga, when he prete's with Himeno he dies as the Pretear must draw energy from the knight to fight, but is revived.
In the anime, the use of a knight's leafe is removed, and Shin is the only knight never shown preting with her. He is also given the additional abilities to seal demon larvae and to create a barrier around a battle to keep the environment from being harmed by battles with the larvae.):
Pretear(Himeno) and a little about her(played by me):
If the Pretear can manage to transform into the white Pretear, she will wear an 8th costume, which is pure white and covered in decorative lace. When Himeno became the white pretear in the anime, she generated an enormous amount of leafe and exhausted herself, making the others believe that had died. In the manga, she only offered to give the princess of disaster as much leafe as she wanted.
It is implied that the white pretear is capable of creating any and all types of Leafe. If the last episode of the anime is any indication, she may be able to do so all at once, though it is a great drain on her physical energy.
Personality: Himeno Awayuki is a normal 16 year old girl. At the start of the series her father, who is a writer, has just gotten re-married to the richest woman in Japan. Himeno now has two new stepsisters, Mawata Awayuki and Mayuni Awayuki. She doesn't feel like she fits in or belongs in her new family, that's when she meets The Leafe Knights. Although initially reluctant to take on the role as Pretear she eventually comes to accept her new found powers and abilities and gains trust and friendships among each of the knights.Later on in the series she starts to develop feelings for the Leafe Knight Hayate even though he tries to distance himself from her.
Powers and abilities: As the Pretear, Himeno has the ability to pret with the other kinghts, doing so, she can use their powers to defeat the Demon Larvas. Initially, she can only pret with the other six Leafe Knights. But as the series progresses, she is able to transform to the Legendary White Pretear.
Pretear of wind: The Pretear is caused by the union of Himeno and Hayate. In this form, Himeno, is capable of using wind-based powers (only in a higher degree than the Leafe Knight) she is also capable of using the weapon, Wind Sword, which has the ability to make the wind gusts cut. She is first seen as this pretear in episode one when she agrees to become pretear. [image error]
Pretear of light: The pretear is caused by union of Kei and Himeno. In this form Himeno is capable of using light based powers. Her weapon is the Chakram of Light.
Pretear of Sound: This pretear is caused by union of Sasame and Himeno. In this form Himeno is capable of using sound based powers. She can hear things far away and see herself there. Her weapon as the sound pretear is Sonic Arrow. Where she blows through her two fingers and makes a Sonic Arrow to attack Demon Larvas. Himeno first becomes this pretear in episode 2 when she wants to practice so that none of the knights will be hurt.
Pretear of Fire: This Pretear is caused by union of Go and Himeno. In this form Himeno is capable of using fire based powers. Her weapon is fire ax. She is fist seen as this pretear in episode three when she is practices.
Pretear of ice: This Pretear is caused by union of Mannen and Himeno. In this from Himeno can use ice based powers. Her weapon is the Arquebus of Ice, which is a slim ice beam cannon. She uses it to cut Demon Larvas.
Pretear of Water: This pretear is caused by a union of Hajime and Himeno. In this from Himeno is able to use water based powers. Her weapon is a Water Flail. She first becomes this Pretear in Episode Four when a Demon Larva attacks her bedroom.
Pretear of wood/plants: This pretear is caused by union of Shin and Himeno. In this from Himeno is able to use plant based powers. Himeno never enters this from in the anime but is seen in it while she is transforming in to the Legendary White Pretear along with the other Pretear. But she does become this Pretear in the manga but while in it since she has to take energy from the knight and Shin is so young is used up all his energy and in doing so dies. But he is brought back to life.
Legendary white pretear: In the final episode of the anime, Himeno turns into the Legendary White Pretear without needing to pret with any of the knights. This allowed her to defeat the Great Tree of Fenrir, bring back Sasame and save the world. She lost her life in doing so, but was revived when Hayate kissed her.
Princess of distruction and a little about her
Summery: The Princess of Disaster, whose real name is Takako, was the last Prétear before Himeno. Her powers eventually turned towards evil. Fenrir's ultimate goal is to destroy the world by taking away the Leafe that preserves all life. In the anime adaptation, Sasame confesses that he had loved her all along. And he becomes her Knight of Darkness, and she orders him to kill Hayate, making him her Knight of Darkness. (though she throws hayate back before sasume can, claiming she was too bored).
Background: Takako fell in love with Hayate, but he was unable to reciprocate her feelings, causing her to become heartbroken and turn towards evil. At the end of the series, Himeno's kindness and Sasame's death out of love for her enables her to regain her humanity and return to normal. She is last seen with the revived Sasame.
