Abbie K. (brigidshawk) | 108 comments Hi to Everyone. I'm a new member and thought I might share a little sympathy with all of those of you who have also lost their minds looking for more shelf space. Currently, more of my paycheck goes to Amazon, Borders, and anywhere else books are sold than it does to my mortgage. I have long since run out of shelves, and have books parked up both sides of the stairs, in plastic bins, bags, totes, boxes, backpacks, and on my diningroom table. I havent eaten at the table in nearly two years. I am hoping I have found like-minded individuals who suffer the same affliction???

The answer to your question is a resounding YES!!!

I find House Beautiful and a few other home magazines have great ideas for decorating using books. I love the stair idea!

What a great idea...decorating for the insistant bibliophile! I just have to put the book down long enough to do it.

Hi Abbie.... welcome to the group. It is obvious to me that you are a book lover AND horder! Join the ranks :)

Abbie K. (brigidshawk) | 108 comments I'll be glad to stop hording when the prices go down. I feel guilty throwing out/recycling a book that costs $20 or more. If postage were free we could send them to each other. We could be our own library!

Hi abbie, welcome. I had to stop hoarding... didn't have anything new to read and had no space!!
