I'm torn between Harry Potter, the books of history chronicles by Ted Dekker (that's 3 interconnecting series), and the wardstone chronicles also known as the spook's apprentice series or the last apprentice series in the USA.
How about Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar series - which would include any and all of the herald-mage books. I also thought of the Harry Dresden series by Jim Butcher. Or perhaps the "Game" series by Christine Feehan. I'd still want to have both Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter too.
ohhhhh this is just impossible! I'd probably have to go with Lord of the Rings, just because of the sheer volume of the series- there's always something new to pick up from a re-read. Also I could spend my time in the appendices learning Elvish, so why not?
All of Tolkein :) The Dwarves series by Markus Keitz. Still need to read the Stephen King's Dark Tower series.
