Well done Sherry! I have you updated.Okay peeps, only a few days left. I need to kick my reading into high gear. I have 3 books on the go right now and only two of them fit this challenge. I don't think I will make my goal but I am going to do some power reading today. Good luck to all for completing this challenge.
It took me a while, but I have finished 2.2. Read a book of your favorite genre.
Catching Fire (2/5 stars)
I thought it was a bit slow compared to the first book and I missed it's pacing. Also I felt the tension was less, a lot of back story needed to be added, it felt like a build up to the third book and I hope it will be better.
3. Reread your favorite book.
Dune(5/5 stars)
I still love it. I read it years back and I discovered new things in the book I didn't remember from the last time. The complexity is still impressive.
2/2 completed.
It was nice to reread my favourite sci-fi novel again. the hunger games was in line with my plan so the came together nicely. I enjoyed this challenge, next time a higher goal then 2 :)
Way to go Stephan! Dune is on my to read list. I hope to read it this year. If you decide to read another book for this challenge let me know. There is still time to maybe finish one more.
I have finished my two!2. Read a book of your favorite genre.
Deadly Choices: How the Anti-Vaccine Movement Threatens Us All
I love lots of different genres but if you forced me to choose I would probably say nonfiction books focused on medicine, science, biology type subjects.
4. Read a book that takes place in your favorite place.
Reality Boulevard
Again, I love lots of different places, but one of my favorites is Los Angeles, particularly the Hollywood/West Hollywood neighborhoods, which will always feel like home to me.
