Gail/Ladyvolz Bowman (ladyvolz) | 343 comments I was trying to update the "Upcoming Releases" list today and noticed that these authors have not had a book out in a year or two.... Any others you can think of? Any knowledge or updates on where they stand in the writing process?

G. M. Ford
Jonathon King
Michael Gruber
Jonnie Jacobs
Russell Andrews
Michele Martinez (had a book out last year, but so far nothing on this year's list)
James W. Hall (did not release a m/t this year)

I was going to add Robert Crais, but I found a listing for a new book coming out on January 10 titled "The First Rule".

just curious who else is MIA.

Cheryl | 547 comments I don't know about any upcoming books for these authors. I do know that Jonathan King just signed up for Bouchercon which he has not attended in the last 2 or 3 years. That seems to be a sign that there may be something on the horizon.

Gail,
I've been wondering about Jodi Compton. She hasn't written a Sarah Pribek book since 2005, I think it was and also D.W. Buffa. I haven't heard anything from him in a long time either. I enjoyed reading their series and I've missed them.

Cheryl, you will have to track him down at BCon and ask him. Tell him inquiring minds want to know when his next book is coming out and if he is going to continue his Freeman series... I really enjoyed his books.
