July Books: THE BOOK THIEF and TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD!

The Book Thief has been on my to-read list for a long time. It seems that every time I get ready to read it, the whole Death thing turns me away. I'm not sure what my problem is. I really hope that I can read it in July. It has gotten such rave reviews from everyone.

Well, then, it's a good thing I decided to read The Book Thief instead of The Book of Lost Things.
And TKM is one of my all time favorite books.

I just finished To Kill a Mockingbird for another group this month. Someone in the southern group recommended this one on audio read by Sissy Spacek and IT was really good to listen to by her. Great book. So is the Book Thief!

I should have added that TKAM is one of my favorite books of all time, too. Thanks for reminding me about the Sissy Spacek recording of it, KrisT. I am going to see if I can find that at my library.

My TKAM audio is read by someone else. :( It's OK, not the greatest, but I love the story so much I think I'd put up with just about anyone reading it.
