Ingie Telma, there is much back and forth and I'm nervous every time I turn the page. :)))

message 104: by Ingie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ingie Nice to have you here, Telma! ...I have also just learned to "swing" with these "pro-reading-girls".

It is wonderful here but right now when it's dark so early, and still no snow, it's pretty depressing. Fortunately, there are now electric Advent stars and more at home in our windows. I love the Christmas feeling....
But it might start to get the winter cold in London too?

Getting colder here now Ingela, only 3 degrees today, so time for the thermal undies shortly ha ha!! I'm going to put my idea of the two guys in picture form...I have a very suitable one for Haris, just need to find one for Tyler but that shouldn't be too difficult. Hopefully our internet will behave itself tomorrow and I can post my review tomorrow evening assuming everyone has finished the story. Happy reading Ladies, back to my lovely Bound to Break guys. x

message 108: by BevS (new) - rated it 5 stars

BevS A big woot for the fact that this book is awesome, and the guys are super hot....except for the misunderstandings all the time...they both need a good kick up the backside!!

Agree with you completely, Bev!
84%: (view spoiler)

♣ Irish Smurfétté ♣ Welcome to your first BR, Telma! :)
I had my first with these very same ladies. ;)

Weather report here LOL: it is eerily way warm here, especially knowing that huge cold front is coming and is covering nearly all of the U.S. We're going down nearly forty degrees between now and Fri when freezing rain is supposed to visit, then below-freezing temps.

As for the book, my last post still stands, but I will wait until it's done to rate. :)

As usual, you both rule with the smilies!! :D

message 111: by Ingie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ingie Yay!! Finished it and I really liked it.

Time to sleep.

♣ Irish Smurfétté ♣ Finisheddddd LOL.

Wilson still rules. That is all... for now. ;)

It will be so exciting to read your review Andrea. I have a feeling that you are not as enthusiastic as me and Bev have been.

Ingie Telma, I do not know how far you've come but our little group is now playing an anthem for a fun and engaging buddy reading. Thank you girls!

message 117: by BevS (last edited Dec 05, 2013 01:45AM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

BevS Woot, that's 3 of us finished and I also suspect that Andrea didn't like it as much as us Ingela, but each to his own....it wouldn't do for us all to like the same things.

I see that Mona likes Blacque/Bleu and so did you...I'll have to see if Andrea wants to BR with that one (had it on the kindle for months) and maybe our next joint one could be Gravitational Attraction (sci-fi, but must be better than Turbulence )??

message 118: by Ingie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ingie Gravitational Attraction - It is this book that is so hard to buy, but I know that Andrea had an idea of what I can do. I'll go back and check and return if I want to enjoy you two ladies on a BR of it.

It was almost one year ago I read Blacque/Bleu. I got the book as an ARC and it was one of the very first gay romances I read. I remember that it was intense (and hot) and I loved the first half very much, anyway. I thought it was so exciting when two guys cuddled with each other... :)))

I think Andrea got it from Nook (Barnes & Noble) and has perhaps converted it to go on her kindle fire?? She'd be the best one to ask...or of course there are those Kaje Harper werewolf stories that we were talking about before we started this??

message 120: by Ingie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ingie 1) I just send a short PM to Andrea about it. She can probably help me. In cases of crisis can I download it to my Kobo app and read on my iPad instead of through my Kindle.

2) Do you mean Unacceptable Risk? I just read it (my review) and really liked it. Or what is another one?

message 121: by BevS (new) - rated it 5 stars

BevS My God woman, you're getting through these books like nobody's business...Yes, I am saying that to you for a change!! Yep, Unacceptable Risk it was, so that's another one crossed off, and I can read that myself when I can find it on here, hehe!! I'll have a look through what's on here and come up with some suggestions. x

message 122: by Ingie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ingie What about the one Macky just reviewed: The Backup Boyfriend. I couldn't resist and just bought it.

♣ Irish Smurfétté ♣ I'm giggling because Bev, you told Ingela she's reading through books like a tornado.... YOU! :D

Ingela, I'll check my messages and try to help you with GA so at least you have it whether you join us for a BR or not - if we do that next.

I haven't checked out Bad B. yet, but I will.

I love doing BR's with you chicas! :D Always funnnnnn.

message 124: by BevS (new) - rated it 5 stars

BevS Yes, I got that one, it was a rec from Eli Easton but haven't read it yet..It's been getting mixed reviews have you noticed, I'm definitely up for it though if Andrea's in....or even if she's got other stuff on, we can read it together??

message 125: by BevS (new) - rated it 5 stars

BevS Yes, I did say that to Ingela for a change....I'm fed up of people saying it to me, hehe!! Come on then, what's your rating going to be?? x

♣ Irish Smurfétté ♣ Are you just itching to know my rating?? LOL
I think it's going to end up being a 3 for me: twas a mixed bag, like two very different stories warring with each other LOL Doh! but I'm going to think on it and will post a review tonight probably.

Gotta get ready for work!! boo hiss, want to talk books LOL.
And thanks for the rec on the Xmas shorty!! :)

♣ Irish Smurfétté ♣ Oh and let's def try and choose our next BR! :)

message 128: by Ingie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ingie I stressed like crazy to keep up with your fast reader. Pretty soon I think my eyes will pop out. I have not seen a TV program in ages or read the newspaper ... Haha, no I LOVE to read gay romances right now. May not be enough, and friends and family think I'm such a boring nerd right now.

I am open to any good book suggestions for a BR. You Ladies are so fun to talk books with. :)

message 129: by Ingie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ingie ... and I hope we can find one that Andrea will rejoice and sing over when we finished reading.

BevS Ingela wrote: "... and I hope we can find one that Andrea will rejoice and sing over when we finished reading."

This is us Ingela!!

AND we'll wait for Andrea to come up with a book...from one boring nerd (me) to another Ingela, enjoy the rest of your day, and yes I think we can safely say you're an m/m addict!! Will post my review later...this is the story that makes me reach my reading total for this year....469!!

message 131: by Ingie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ingie Wow, you're amazing Bev!

See you later! :)

Love that you reached your goal and that it was 469 hahahaha. woot!

And I'm sure we can come up with a good BR. It doesn't have to be one that I'm possible going to love LOL. No matter the outcome, it's fun just doing the reads together. :D

♣ Irish Smurfétté ♣ Ingela wrote: "I stressed like crazy to keep up with your fast reader. Pretty soon I think my eyes will pop out. I have not seen a TV program in ages or read the newspaper ... Haha, no I LOVE to read gay romances..."

You and me both, especially re: the newspaper!

You're an official addict, Ingela, and we're glad to have you LOL :D

I'll happily be considered a nerd by others if it means I get to read fab books!

message 135: by BevS (new) - rated it 5 stars

BevS Back Up Boyfriend doesn't look too bad...at least the blurb sounds good??

♣ Irish Smurfétté ♣ Is anyone reading that new Training Season yet? Can't remember. It could be promising, too.

message 137: by Ingie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ingie Andrea wrote: "Is anyone reading that new Training Season yet? Can't remember. It could be promising, too."

Only you hold my hand if it is tough and rough BDSM. I need to broaden my horizons so why not.

Ingie See this review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

// from another book nerd maybe, haha!!

message 139: by BevS (new) - rated it 5 stars

BevS OK Ladies, I think that's our next Buddy Read sorted...I'll go online and get it now, and you two can decide when between you. I'm easy now I've reached my total, but I am away next weekend (Friday the 13th, gulp) for my birthday, we're off to the Christmas Market and see the lights in Birmingham AND generally have too much to eat and drink, ha ha. Should we maybe plan for the week after that??

Happy Birthday for tomorrow Andrea if I forget later

message 140: by BevS (new) - rated it 5 stars

BevS Book Nerd here....have just bought it, sounds like a goodie, so date to be agreed Ladies. x

Ha! my eyes must have just rolled over ignored the BDSM part. Is that still ok with you both? It just sounds so interesting... let me know! I'll get it either way.

message 142: by Ingie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ingie Are we still talking about Training Season?

It works for me if we start at the latest on Monday the sixteenth. I'll go off on a long plane ride Friday, December 20 and is not back until January 5th again. I need some time to pack the large suitcase before too. But I'm happy with a BR reading of that novel. :)

Thanks, Bev!! ;) :D

And I just picked up
Training Season - do we think this one is a go, then?

I'm fine with starting it sometime this weekend: I'm still using up vacation days and am off tomorrow and Monday. Four-day weekend, woot!

♣ Irish Smurfétté ♣ Oh, did you all want to start it later on? That's ok with me, too!! Just let me know and I'll be readyyyyyyyyyyy. :)

message 145: by Ingie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ingie Now I am the owner of my forty-sixth unread MM book. God punish me for that behavior! ...So I can start reading anytime.

message 146: by BevS (new) - rated it 5 stars

BevS Ingela, I dread to think how many unread books I have on here, so I think 46 is quite small, ha ha.

Yes, I can start later today if you both want, we're having terrible problems with our internet at the mo...so slow it's unreal, so not sure if I'll be able to post my review later or not, but I have posted my Bound to Break one (eventually)..5 stars young Andrea...and I've got my Seducing Professor Coyle one to do as well...it's all go!!

What are you up to for your Birthday young lady??

message 147: by Ingie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ingie Just tell me when it's time for it. I don't think it will be any review from me today, not in writing mood right now.

♣ Irish Smurfétté ♣ Grrrrr for spotty internet!
And I could probably start Training Season sometime tomorrow, if that works for everyone.

And uh, Ingela, I'm with Bev, I know I'm over 100 when it comes to unread purchased books. Just sayin... ;)

OH! And YES for BTB!!!! I loved it! More, more and more from SE, like you said in your review, Bev LOL
And thanks for calling me young! I think it's '42' tomorrow. :X

message 149: by Ingie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ingie Okay, then we start tomorrow and you're hanging on Andrea as soon as you blown out all (42) candles on your birthday cake.

Bev, will you make a new fine "book page", we can talk on?

message 150: by Ingie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ingie I control-counted (my GR shelves) and it is more than three times as many including unread hetro romances, short stories, and free books. Moreover, it is a big pile of unread Swedish old books here at home. ~ OMG, I will die the book-death, sigh! Good thing there are reading glasses (for ladies nearly 50) and that my salary is decent. LoL!

This new kind of e-books is actually pretty good for no one else understands how much books you really have and can challenge all your daily new purchases...
