Werewolves:*They can turn into wolves at will
*Silver burns them
*They usually live in packs
Warlocks:*They have powers since they are young but their powers develop only later.
*They have some mark that distinguishes them from ordinary people (Cat eyes of Magnus Bane)
*They lose energy if they use oo much power
*They have an unlimited life span but can be killed by ordinary means
*They stop aging at around eighteen
Shadowhunters:*They don't have any special powers except for speed and light-footedness
*They use runes for stuff like seeing inthe dark, memory etc. The only rune I know is the healing rune (Iratze) and it's most commonly used
*The healing rune only speeds up healing process and does not completely heal
*Runes are not permanent (only some are) and the others leave them with scars
*They are usually trained for battle unless they've lived away from other Shadowhunters for a long time.
*They kill demons whih leaves them with scars since demon-poison can't be healed with an iratze.

Demigods are not there in the Shadowhunter world. They're from a completely different series! So, that's why I didn't add them here.

Try- The City of Bones, that's the Mortal Instruments series which has six books (one not published yet) and the Clockwork Angel-It's the first book of the Infernal Devices Trilogy.

Yes. Sort of. It's just in the beginning and don't worry if you don't like the books much. These books are the ones which ahve the most conflicted reviews I've ever seen.

the fey go waaaaay back in history and are the offspring of demons and angels. they have the beauty of angels and the... personality of demons. The Seelie Queen rules them and she's a total female dog.

*They can't digest any food except blood and maybe some wine
*Human blood tastes best to them
*They don't have any other powers except for speed and lightness of feet and all that kind of stuff
*They're always very pale
Daylighrers are the same as ordinary vamps except that they don't burn in sunlight.
