Set in Corvallis Oregon, Bianca (23) still lives with her single mother; Lisa & younger ½ brother Owen. Mother seems to have several different B/F’s. Bianca works at Papa’s Pizza Parlor.

The story opens with Bianca whom is lost in an apple orchid & out of nowhere comes Levi who helps her find her way back to town. Levi forbids her to eat the apple she has found. He lives close by in a cabin he built. He was previously married to Edith who left him in 1878 (?). In 1857, most of the town of Corvallis by disease.

Levi (24) whom owns/manages property happens to end up at the pizza parlor where he encounters Bianca. A love/friendship begins to happen. He has a friend Wiley who always supplies him with a driver’s license that keeps him at a younger age than he really is.

Kate & Stephanie 2 of her best friend’s decide to take her out to the local disco. Stephanie goes up to the bar to get drinks & meets Peter Cabrera (photographer) whom is a former acquaintance of Levi. His wife; Clara died years ago. Bianca goes on a date with him.

Peter’s father who lives in Florida wants to buy Levi’s property for $6 million. His father knows lots of scientists & wants to find a cure for the past illness that still lingers in this town. Peter also has the hot’s for Bianca

Out of the blue Bianca’s father calls to let her know he/younger G/F; Amber are expecting a boy, he is still part of her life.

The mystery of the book really unravels when her friend Kate is doing a town history report for class & finds a 1909 newspaper clipping taken by Peter of a person who looks exactly like Levi.

Fast forward Bianca & Levi (182 yrs. Old) were encountered by a mountain lion & he is injured. He tells/shares his life story with her of the property he came across while traveling & the story of the apple tree & eating the apple pie (age 24) which has healing powers & makes him immortal.

Bianca reminded him that she thought she had eaten an apple from his orchard, he let her know she did not.

They fall madly in love & she visits him a lot. He asks her to marry him, but informs her he cannot produce children (genetic); what now? Later they get engaged. Peter however still longed for her.

Her fiend Stephanie helped her plan a big wedding & they got married. They went on their honeymoon & defiantly had hot/steamy sex.

The story is not over yet; Peter, his sister Anna (150) & another culprit; Peter’s father are going to kidnap Bianca. His uncle Charles did the same thing to Levi. The parties all wanted to know about the apple curse. Levi had cut down the apple tree, Peter was shot & died, & Levi shot his uncle Charles.

They start to live happily ever after & Bianca informs Levi after the home-pregnancy test that she is P/G…they will grow old together.

I highly recommend this book to all romance/paranormal fans. Thank you for the free book, easy to follow; I really enjoyed reading it. 5 stars
