I like how this book deals with a lot of important problems of life, like estranged parents, mental illnesses, alcoholism or social anxiety. And it still manages to be ball of sunshine

I’m not sure what I think so far, Cath seems really whiny & she wants to go everywhere with her sister, which is a bit weird lol! I hope she’ll get better.
Also, does she not know what college is? 😂 She asked about where ‘the old people’ are, but most of the time the people in college are young sooo😂

I think it was somewhere out of the college area. So maybe it's ok to ask a question like that. Sometimes it feels really weird when the particular area is filled with people of the particular age. :D

Not far as I hardly had any time this week to read. Just finished ch2 today. But it becomes more interesting after the semester began.

It goes pretty slow as it's a really busy week for me :( I'll try to catch up on weekend. I love how it goes so far though all the scenes are quite predictable and somehow bland. Strange thing, I usually don't like the book if it is so predictable. But maybe this time I needed something stable after reading the Mistborn series :D

I've read about 50% of the book and it's a little bit boring. I think it's just not for me. I love reading some contemporary YA books but prefer fantasy more. Maybe I'm too old for all the contemporary teenage stuff :D

I have the same, I just can't seem to pick it back up! I prefer fantasy too, and the romance now and then ;) Same haha, even though I'm only 20 :P I've never DNF'd a book before, but I just can't seem to read it at this point..

@Danique I want to finish the book as I want to know how it's going to end with Cath's writing career (this is the only thing here which I'm into). But it's ok if you DNF it :) I'm ok with DNF-ing the books too if I don't like them.

@Danique Great! I've read about 65% of the book. For now it's still boring and predictable :( The only intriguing thing is Cath's and professor Piper's agreement. I hope it's not going to develop into something disappointing. Otherwise it'll be the worst book I've read this year so far :(
