Alexis (LexaReads) | 375 comments I've been put on bed rest by my doctor until my baby comes, and of course no matter what I do I am suddenly unable to get into any book I read... I've started about 20 and put them all down in the last two weeks. So please help a girl out and find me a nice long series that will suck me in and keep me. I'm going insane by the fact that as soon as I have hours and hours to read... I can't seem to find anything that I'm in the mood for!

Thank you!

~Melissa~ | 1965 comments Hi Alexis - sorry you're on bedrest :(

Here are some PNR authors with longer series you might like

Nalini Singh - Psy-Changeling starts with Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling, #1) by Nalini Singh
Kresley Cole - Immortals After Dark starts with The Warlord Wants Forever (Immortals After Dark, #1) by Kresley Cole
Sherrilyn Kenyon - Dark Hunter starts with Fantasy Lover (Dark-Hunter companion novel) by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Larissa Ione - Demonica starts with Pleasure Unbound (Demonica, #1) by Larissa Ione and leads right into her Lords of Deliverance series Eternal Rider (Lords of Deliverance, #1) by Larissa Ione

Hope you find some enjoyable reads on your downtime and that all goes well for you and your baby!!

❆ Crystal ❆ (crystal_wright) Alex, Congratulations! I didn't feel like reading much when I was pregnant with my twins... So, I can feel you.... I checked out your shelf and saw we have quite a few books in common... We're both reading Sweet Dreams right now)

Here are a few suggestions...
The Bronze Horseman (first book 912 pages and it is UNREAL) there are 3 books in the series and they are all highly rated. I'm 82% on the first book and it will be my favorite in 2013 and maybe an All Time Favorite.

I was going to recommend the Black Dagger Brotherhood and saw that you've read the first 3. I just finished book 4 and I heard book 5 V's story is awesome.

Fever series by Karen Moning is AWESOME... I've read the first 3 and am dying to get to book 4. Darkfever (Fever, #1) by Karen Marie Moning

Looking for laughs...
Seduction and Snacks (Chocolate Lovers, #1) by Tara Sivec

I hope this helps. Best wishes!

Julia Quinn's Bridgertons

Geralyn Dawson's Bad Luck Wedding books are good

Effingtons by Victoria Alexander

The DePiaget series by Lynn Kurland is a mix of historical and time travel

Katie MacALister has written some fun ones that are connected- the aisling Grey books and the dragon ones are connected

Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove

Susan Elizabeth Phillips Chicago Stars

Fast Track series by Erin McCarthy

Susan Mallery's Marcelli series

The Irish Country series by Patrick Taylor is good - not romance

Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey

You should also read the Cambridge Fellows series by Charlie Cochrane

Bo "In death" series by J.D. Robb is my all time fave. There are almost 40 books, and a dozen novellas. If u don't mind m/m romance then the cut and run series by abigail roux and madeline urban is my second fave. happy reading!
