Alec shook his head in exasperation. "How can you stand her? She's just so..." He stood there, thinking, until at last he said, "For lack of a better word- annoying."Miranda shrugged, "We could go and train with the others. But first we need to help these two," She gestured towards Max and Chloe. "Figure out what they want to do. Maybe we could all have one big training session!" She exclaimed, a sudden flash of joy spreading across her face. "That would be fun!"
"She is annoying." Isabelke agreed "But not unbearably annoying. She just wants to help but Sierra....she's vain and a show-off and also really good at fighting. I can't stand HER." Sierra shook her head. "Don't you realize," she said. "They don't want us there." she did not like ruining Miranda's enthusiasm but....it had to be done.
"She might be a show-off, but at least she's actually good for something." Alec said, clenching his fists. "Miranda can really only stand there, and she's even bad at that." Shaking his head, Alec continued, "Well, at least we can train in peace."Miranda's smile had been replaced with a look of pure determination. "They might not want us, but that's all the more reason to prove ourselves!" She grinned a little at Sierra before saying, "And I thought you were one to never decline a challenge?"
"Ya, come on Alec, lets go." Jace said walking away.
Isabelle grinned. "Yeah. At least we can train in peace." she walked towards the weapons room to pick up a few knives and uncoiled her gold whip from her wrist. She then followed Jace.Sierra made an irritated noise. "It's NOT a chalkenge." she said. "Don't you get it? We're not wanted and if you have some pride you won't go. Alec doesn't like you and Isabelle doesn't like me.
Alec went in to the weapons room to retrieve his bow and arrows before following Isabelle and Jace."Of course we aren't wanted here!" Miranda sighed. "These people have known each other for ages and don't want to socialize with newcomers. However, we're going to be spending a long time here, so we might as well get to know them! Even if some of them are jerks..."'She squinted her eyes and thought of Alec when she said this last comment.
Isabelle whipped her bow up when they were in the training room so that it made a loud noise. "Let's practice." she said challengingly, raising her eyebrows at Jace."Alec's not so bad." Sierra said. "And Jace doesn't seem to care about us enough to hate any of us." she looked at Miranda. "You want to go see if we can train?"
"Just be careful, okay?" Alec said to Isabelle, eyeing her whip uncertainly. He knew she had mastered the weapon and wouldn't get hue practicing, but he still worried."Yes, I would like to! That's what I've been asking to do for the past five minutes!" She grinned broadly and started walking out the door before turning around and smiling sheepishly. "I kinda forgot where the training room is..."
"I'm akways careful." Isabelle said, cracking her whip again and looking at Jace. "Now he has to be too." "I DON'T want to go." Sierra said. "But since I can see how eager YOU are to go, I'm just playing along. Sad to say, I've started liking you." she walked out of the kitchen and towards the training room.
"I am careful, just not when Clary's here." Jace rolled his eyes.
"Just start." Isabelle said with a groan. "I can't wait here forever, you know."
"Fine." Jace shrugged and grabbed his sword, and started fighting with er.
Isavelle was taken by surprise and quickly flicked her whip towards him, catching hold of his wrist with it. She was careful not to hurt him.
Alec watched the two practice for awhile before going off and practicing shooting targets.Miranda grinned and followed Sierra out of the kitchen. "You're not half bad yourself," She whispered, still smiling. As the two walked towards the training room, Miranda turned towards Sierra, "Remember to enter strong. I refuse to be called weak or useless!"
Sierra actually smiled. "Don't worry." she said. "I always try to look strong. It's a really annoying habit of mine."
"I have a lot of annoying habits," Miranda said as she opened the door to the training room. "But acting strong is not one of them."
"Ohhh.. whatever we're all strong. We're shadowhunters aren't we?" Max asked exasperated.

" Just act really rude all the time and act like you don't care what anyone says." she looked at Max. "I thought you were doing something else." she said. "This place is not for kids."
"See, I can't act rude," Miranda joked. "I'm Canadian, and apparently it's forbidden for Canadians to act rude."
"You have to act rude if you want to look strong." Sierra said. "Idon't care if you're Canadian or French."
"Alright. Well," Miranda sighed a little bit out of nervousness. "Are you ready to go in?"
Max grabbed Chloe's hand and led her out of the room sighing. No where was a place for kids...
"Of course I am." Sierra snorted, not even a little nervous. "I always am."
Pushing open the door, Miranda and Sierra entered the training room.Alec stopped practicing to see what was going on. His eyes landed on Miranda and Sierra, and, after he completely registered who was in the training room, his face broke into a scowl. "This isn't a place for you two!"
"Why not Alec? Afraid they're gonna bet you? They need to train to." Jace said as he kept fighting with Isabel
Alec clenched his fists. "They can train, just not here."
Sierra looked at Alec with a challenging expression. "Why don't you try fighting me once? I bet I could beat you.
"There's no where else to train really, and what are they gonna go? Try to figure it out themselves? I doubt they'd be able to."
Alec's face went pale. "I don't need to prove myself to you!"Miranda laughed. "Sierra," She said, grinning wildly. "I think he's scared of you!"
Jace smirked. "You bet he is. He's a little baby."
Sierra grinned at Alec. "Yes you do." she said. "Unless...you can't." Isabelle stopped fighting and cioled her whip around her wrist."Jace!" she said exasperatedley.
"What? He is!" Jace exclaims. "Why are you defending your brother?"
"I'm not defending him!" she said and as an afterthought.." He's not." she uncoiled her whip. "You just left me hanging in the middle of a fight."
He swung his sword. "Fine your brother's not a baby. I was kidding anyway Issy." He laughed
"Okay now. Let's start." Isabelke said jerking Jace's sword arm with her whip.
He smiles, pulling his sword back and then forward again.
Isabeloe let the whip slide away from Jace's arm leaving a red mark there. She lashed out with it again and caught him on the shoulder.
He winced, but didn't say anything. Just hit her arm with his sword.
Isabelle dodged but her arm still got a shallow cu and she winced. She cracked her whip more fiercely.
Jace dropped his sword and grabbed her hands. "I think that's enough for now. I still hurt from yesterday Issy. Anyway a new girl's coming today."
Alec shot Jace a look of annoyance before turning back to Sierra and Miranda. "Fine. You two can train here," He said his eyes narrowed in hatred. "Just as long as you don't bother us." And with that, he turned around and continued training.Miranda smiled. "Well," She said, her devilish grin replaced with one of joy. "Looks like we can train here!"
"Okay." she said, dropping her whip. She grinned. "Sorry I hurt you. It was completely unintentional."
"I know." He lat go of her arms.
Amy knocked on the door, but it was opened bu Jace before she could. "You're Amy right?" He asked.
She nondded.

Alec ignored her and continued practicing.Miranda tugged on Sierra's arm, "Come on, we can train here now. Let's just go greet the new girl."
Amy looked at the people in the room, the boy in front of her, another practicing and three girls. One alone. She waved at them all. "Hi I'm Amy."
