I think he had a few siblings and he was a kid so he fell and there was vivid description of him falling and splatting on the sidewalk and that was all in the first chapter, I think? I can't remember anything after. I think his name was something like Farley. Sorry this is so vague, and thank you!

Do you remember when you read the book? Was it young adult or adult? Genre? Anything about the cover?
