For option 1, is it okay to pick a book from the 100 Best First Lines from Novels for option A and then a book from Stylist Best 100 Closing Lines for option B, or do you have to go with either 100 Best or Stylist consistently?

For option 3A, according to the biographical blurb on her web site (http://www.anitashreve.com/), Anita Shreve's first published book is Eden Close, originally published in 1989.Her second book, Strange Fits of Passion, was published in 1991. The Goodreads date (1985) for this book seems to be incorrect.
I can read either of these books, but would like to get approval for whichever one would be accepted as her first for this task.

The task calls for "Book A: Read author’s first full-length published book." Anita Shreve published some non-fiction books before her first novel- some have a co-author like Working Woman: A Guide to Fitness + Health with Patricia Lone but her first solo book appears to be Remaking Motherhood: How Working Mothers Are Shaping Our Children's Future in 1987
