Her second book, Strange Fits of Passion, was published in 1991. The Goodreads date (1985) for this book seems to be incorrect.
I can read either of these books, but would like to get approval for whichever one would be accepted as her first for this task.

Anita Shreve published some non-fiction books before her first novel- some have a co-author like Working Woman: A Guide to Fitness + Health with Patricia Lone but her first solo book appears to be Remaking Motherhood: How Working Mothers Are Shaping Our Children's Future in 1987
