Mina felt her body become stiff as she felt and heard the sweet blood flowing through his veins. She looked down at Arthur and gave him a wicked look, she could not wait any longer. She wrapped her hands around a fistful of his shirt and pulled him closer to her mouth, demanding and controlling his body as easily as ever.
Finally, without another thought, she bit into neck, letting all the hunger and rage take over.

message 166: by Niran (new)

Niran | 1842 comments As Mina sucked on Arthurs she felt an extreme high come to her, pulsing through her veins and giving her body a motive. She felt her eyes turn an electric, shocking colour and felt her fags dig deeper into his neck.

"My my, it seems you couldn't quite manage, hunter".
Mina suddenly turned around, letting go of Arthur and looking at a tall, dark and masculine figure that was sneering at her. "You must be the client", she hissed, both angry and threatened by this figure.
Before she said another word she flashed to the client, jumping on him and pushing him to the ground. Though she fell with him she felt no impact of the fall, the clients back hit the concrete and he immediately held her shoulder to try and push her back. Mina simply aimed to try and get his neck, hissing, scratching and clawing at him as she tried to get closer. The client was surprisingly strong.

message 167: by Your Mom (new)

Your Mom (yourxmom) Arthur felt weak, laying on the ground there and felt sick to his stomach. The blood loss has cost him, but the serum already assured a full day of protection. So although he was exhausted to his bones, he wouldn't get addicted to her bites.

His heart was pounding in his heart as he tried to pump as quickly as possible what blood there was left to the rest of his body cells. He felt light-headed, and he could hear his blood roar in his ears as the wound by his neck slowed it's bleeding.

He heard a man's voice, but he wasn't quite sure who's it was. He was too far close to unconsciousness as suddenly Mina was off him. Or maybe she was already off him for quit some time. He wasn't sure. Everything seemed to blur together.

message 168: by Niran (new)

Niran | 1842 comments Mina continued to thrash at the client," I will tear you limb from limb, human". She tried to grab at him but she couldn't, so instead she pushed his arm away, nearly breaking it and grabbed his throat.

The client could feel himself becoming lightheaded as the vampire squeezed his throat and therefor preventing him from breathing. But he knew what he had to do. She was distracted by her blood hungry thirst, so that gave him the advantage. He quickly got the tranquiliser from his pocket and fidgeted to get the cap off. He then moved quickly and stuck the needle in her neck, pushing all the liquid into her body. Before he knew it he saw her eyes roll back and her grip become loose until she fell on top of him.
A smirk escaped the clients lips.

message 169: by Your Mom (new)

Your Mom (yourxmom) Arthur tried to roll over, but that only made the world spin all the more. It felt like a bad hangover, only this one was more unhealthy than an actual hangover. He groaned as he attempted to push himself off the floor. He stumbled as he got up and fell back down. He couldn't even sense which way was up or down. Could that much blood really have been taken from him?

He was able to raise his head enough to watch a shadow move. Or was it two shadows? He wasn't sure until it was latter confirmed as one suddenly slumped over the other. The first shadow pushed off the second one, and it fell limp on the ground. He shook his head and attempted to rub his eyes to clear away the tear that was forming in his eye. He just wanted to lay there and close his eyes for a moment or two. But he knew he couldn't.

Pushing himself up again, he managed to keep his balance again. Stupid serum was boosting the blood-creation process anymore. He stumbled a few steps as he tried to regain his bearing. His head felt so light...

message 170: by Niran (new)

Niran | 1842 comments The client pushed away the disgusting vampire, pushing her to the side and letting her limp body stay on the dirty concrete. It was where the thing deserved to be, all vampires deserved to die or either feel some sort of pain, a form of torture.

The client stood up, brushed off his grey suit even though it was inevitable dirty, after the vampire princesses throwing him around like a rag doll and thrashing at him like she was a cat that's claws needed to be scratched.
He looked to Arthur to see him stumbling up and looking very faint," I did not pay for such shit service, if you want to get paid why don't you fix yourself, hunter".
He looked the man up and down again with a confused look on his face and said angrily,"What is wrong with you?".

message 171: by Your Mom (new)

Your Mom (yourxmom) Arthur quickly bent forward, placing his hands on his knees for support as he regained his bearings. He heard someone's voice over his growing headache, although he couldn't make out the words clearly. What did he say? Why what? What, or who was the shadow? He stayed in that position for a long time, his mind half processing what the person had said, and the other half concentrating on staying on his feet and not stumbling back down onto the ground.

He still felt faint when he lifted his head up and squinted at the figure. It was his client. Shit! What had he asked? The client was frowning at him, and he sure didn't want to lose his job. "I..." he started, before the pounding headache suddenly increased. "I feel faint," he said. He wasn't sure whether that answered his client's question, considering he had no idea what he asked. "Too much... blood loss."

message 172: by Niran (new)

Niran | 1842 comments The client sighed dramatically and crossed his arms, he gave the hunter a scrutinising glare and held his head high, showing his authority and power. He didn't necessarily care that the hunter felt blood loss, he could find any hunter. Though he knew that this hunter had made a name for himself, he was the hunter, not just any hunter.

"Hm, I see", the client walked up and down, his arms crossed and his hand just below his chin. Then he got an idea.
He looked towards the vampire and then back at the hunter with a smirk, oh he knew exactly what to do now. The client walked towards the vampire and lent down to her wrist, he got out his knife from his pocket and cut her wrist, blood oozed out immediately.
"Drink her blood, it heals", he stated, looking at the hunter impatiently and some what testing the hunters stamina.

message 173: by Your Mom (new)

Your Mom (yourxmom) Arthur blinked for a few moments. Did his client just said what he thought he said, or was it just him? Was his mind lacking so much blood that it was playing hocus-pocus with him? Arthur was scowling by then as his vision cleared slightly and he was ale to make out the small pool of blood that was leaking from the vampire's veins. Already, he could see the wound sealing itself up.

"Drink her blood? Do you think I'm a vampire?" he asked sharply, narrowing his eyes on his client. His head hurts, but that doesn't make him any less smart. His body ached, but that doesn't mean he couldn't feel the adrenaline pump through his veins as annoyance and anger took over. "Why not you try it?" he challenged, gesturing towards her wrist. Within that few seconds, he has healed considerably, but suddenly the healing process slowed, and then it was no longer healing, although there was still a tiny hole in her wrist. He frowned. What happened to the healing?

message 174: by Niran (new)

Niran | 1842 comments "What makes you think I haven't tried it?", the client remarked back, snapping at the hunter and giving him a taunting look.
Yes, the client hated vampires, but he could not hate the power, strength and abilities they had. They did not obey the rules and laws of nature, because vampire were not meant to be.
But somehow, the client wanted what they had.
Power.
Authority.
Eternal life.

The client looked at the hunter to see that he was disgusted and sickened by what he had done. So the hunter decided to give the vampire girl another cut, since she had healed this time.
The hunter cut her wrist again, this time more deeper, the blood oozing again but more thoroughly and quickly.
"Do you want to heal?", the client asked venomously," Or not?".
Sometimes the client even hated his own kind for having such sentimental thoughts, for acting like they cared when really and truly they were just as horrid and cruel as the next person.
The client simply admitted and embraced what he was: a vicious, selfish man.

message 175: by Your Mom (new)

Your Mom (yourxmom) ((Lolz ur grammar is... =.="))

Arthur repulsed at the sight of more blood pouring from her wrist, and this time it wasn't closing up. She looked paler than a normal vampire, as if she was sick. She was the exact same colour as the time when she was trying to break the door to get to him before falling. What was wrong with her?

Of course, one thing was for sure. He was not going to taste her blood on his lips. Never in a billion and two years. "No. I'm fine," he lied. Well, it was only a half lie. It was getting better now, the pain easing slightly. He was healing faster than he expected, but shrugged. Maybe because he was simply more healthy than others. He still felt tired as hell, though, and was still quite sure if he went to sleep, he'd wake to a pounding headache.

Everything seemed brighter and more defined now, and at first he thought of it as simply his eyes coming into focus. But then he realised the sky was streaked orange as dawn started to rise. "We better get her into the warehouse," he muttered. "I don't think you want her to burn to death if you had me go through such trouble just to capture her, now do you?" he challenged.

message 176: by Niran (new)

Niran | 1842 comments The client shook his head and barked out a laugh as the hunter gave him remarks and looks of disgust.
What a cowardice man.
The client got up, brushing his suit off for any dirt that may be there and looked towards the vampire. He wondered about her, was she supposed to be the most powerful vampire alive?

The client also noticed that the sky was getting lighter and the sun would soon approach them, giving him no other option than to pick up the vampire and through her over his shoulder.
He didn't want her to die before he tortured her, that would take all the fun out of it.
Though he wouldn't be the one torturing her, and he could not wait to see what the expression on the hunters face and the vampires when she awakens from her sedated rest.
The hunter would be the one to torture.

message 177: by Your Mom (new)

Your Mom (yourxmom) ((Ur grammar is... =.="))

Arthur beckoned for his client to follow him as he went to the doors of the warehouse. It was not padlocked, but simply chained. He unwrapped the chains and pushed open the double doors. The smell of old and dusty air hit him right in the face, and he immediately sneezed. He wrinkled his nose in distaste as he navigated his way through in the dark. The only light that they had was from the street lamps outside the doors a hundred feet away.

message 178: by Niran (new)

Niran | 1842 comments ((Okay))

The client followed the hunter, though he didn't like how he beckoned him. The client wasn't one to be beckoned or even hollered at, he hated being told what to do by someone who was not worth while. Though he had to admit he was very grateful to the hunter for catching the hideous being that was tossed over his shoulder.
As the client walked in he saw that there was already a metal chair there, one that was connected to the floor and wouldn't be easily moved. It was firm. The client placed her in the metal chair and she lay limply there, her hair covering half of her face.
"Use those chains to keep her down", the client informed the hunter.

message 179: by Your Mom (new)

Your Mom (yourxmom) Arthur's hand twitched at his words, and so did his eyes. What was he planning? Interrogating her? To torture her? He didn't want to dwell too long on the second thought, so he simply went out and do his newly assigned task seamlessly, wrapping the chain around her body and arms, before doing the same to her legs. Soon enough, she was wrapped in a blanket of metal chains, and he secured it at the end. Somewhat.

He was a bit disturbed at the sight of the vampire on the chair, and frowned when he realised that she wasn't healing. Blood still leaked from her wrist. What happened to her powers? Why wasn't she healing and going all out on them? He was sure that the chain couldn't hold her for long if she wanted to get out.

Shaking away all thoughts of her, he turned to his client and arched an expectant brow at him. "I believe we had a contract, my friend," he said coolly.

message 180: by Niran (new)

Niran | 1842 comments The client knew exactly what he wanted to do to the vampire. Though luckily for him she was not healing, which meant more intense pain and more suffering for the little dark princess.

The client looked at the hunter emptily and tilted his head," Yes, we do. But since you seem to have forgotten about the mishap that happened simply about fifteen minutes ago the contract is in my hands, not what we discussed". The client walked around the vampire, observing how she was bound and being very pleased with it, she wouldn't escape easily. In fact, she wouldn't escape at all.

"The contract is in my hands now, and what I want you to do is torture her", the client said simply, as if it was a casual, day to day thing to request. "You see, I don't want to damage my suit any further, as well as you having a few errors to our original contract".

message 181: by Your Mom (new)

Your Mom (yourxmom) Arthur's fist started to ball into a fist, his anger slowly rising from within. Headache forgotten, exhaustion behind, his adrenaline was pumping through his veins.

How dare his client ask of such a demoralising thing of him? Did he look like an executioner to him? Well, he wasn't. He was a hunter, and he'll EVER only go so far as kill his target without any pain caused, and only if he deserved it. And Mina? Did she deserve it? She had never really done anything wrong, just her weird addiction over his blood. But that was it. She didn't even deserve death, let alone torture.

"Maybe you should reconsider," he started smoothly, his voice a deadly quiet calm. "Your choice," he added. "I think my reputation states quite clearly that I do not do such things. Or do you not know that, Killian?" he snarled. He was hoping to surprise, and maybe make his client back off a little after this little outburst.

message 182: by Niran (new)

Niran | 1842 comments The client stood tall and brooding, for a moment not showing any emotion or thought. But as soon as the hunter had stopped babbling the client had ended up laughing a vicious laugh, one that wasn't necessarily for humour but simply for sarcasm. Killian gave the client a look from his dark eyes that showed a careless yet menacing glare, he was not one to negotiate with.

Killian started to pace around like a lion ready to pounce on his prey, he walked around Mina's lip body and then bent down to her slightly. He moved his hands over her hair and pushed it away, away from her body and neck.
He moved his hands over her body, somewhat pleased with her attractiveness and immortal beauty.
"Either you can do it, or I can. Because I have plenty of ways to make this situation even worse for you and her", Killian said, smiling harshly towards the little vampire.

message 183: by Your Mom (new)

Your Mom (yourxmom) Arthur's hand closed around the knife he had in his belt, his anger starting to take the better of him. He debated if he should kill his client. But then he won't get paid for going through all this, and that was the downside of his plan. He did not want to torture Mina, and for some reason, eh didn't want anyone to torture Mina. She simply didn't deserve it.

He watched Killian cautiously for a moment, before he took out his gun and aimed it at Killian without another thought. Threatening his client. Who was he kidding? He could always leave his body here unexplained, to save his reputation. But he wasn't killing him. Maybe he was just too soft that way. But it was too late.

"Killian," he faked a smile. "Move back a few steps and drop the gun and dagger I know you have on your belt and in your boot respectively." He kept his sweet smile on his face though.

message 184: by Niran (new)

Niran | 1842 comments Killian let out a smile, did this man think he was a fool? Did he think that someone like him could scare the client? No, he was simply amused at what this fool believed was threatening.
He shook his head in reply," No, I shall not. I will do her no harm if you simply do the torturing. Instead it will be you", he grinned.

Mina was slowly started to gain consciousness, she could feel someone's hand on her neck. A hand that placed their grip somewhat firmly on her neck, being authoritative and harsh.
Who was this man?
It was the client! The one who had wanted her from the beginning. Though she was awake she kept her eyes closed, kept her body limp and simply listened to what was happening.

Killian glanced down at the vampire," You should really think about your decision, you're threatening me for a vampire. A creature that would kill you without a thought, without hesitation for your blood". He was trying to make the hunter see, trying to twist and curl his words around to manipulate the hunter.

message 185: by Your Mom (new)

Your Mom (yourxmom) Arthur simply shook his head sadly. "You've mistaken, Killian. I mean, yes, she did indeed mention keeping me as livestock for me to constantly supply her blood. Which I have no idea why but..." he shrugged, pausing as he let the words sink into his client. "I'm not torturing anybody. That's way too far, buddy. So, it's either you leave here, or..." he trailed off with a mock of a smile. He let the sentence hang in the air.

But what was he going to do with the vampire, anyway? It's not like he had anything that he'd like to use her for. Unless there was someone else willing to pay him handsomely for her abduction... but it just felt wrong to him. He frowned. Just a few moments ago, he wouldn't even doubt such decisions. He wondered what was wrong with him. Maybe he could help her escape and do a good deed, and in the process hope she doesn't betray him?

There was a few minutes of silence, and he lost his patience. He aimed the gun downwards and shot his client in his leg. The first thing he ever did to destroy his reputation. He hoped that nobody would believe this story, and his friends would help him when Killian goes back crying to his mama. Help him until he had to face them himself, at least.

message 186: by Niran (new)

Niran | 1842 comments Everything happened so quickly.

The client let out a angry yell and fell to the floor as he lost balance and felt the impact of the bullet. It hurt like a bitch!
He gritted his teeth and looked at his leg that was seeping with blood, his suit was ruined and so was his plan. Though he worried more about the suit. "You will pay for this, Hunter!", he yelled, meaning exactly what he said.

Mina suddenly looked at the client and scowled, she spat near him and mumbled under her breathe about how much of an ass hole he was. She looked down at the chains that consumed and crossed over her body, she looked up at Arthur and raised an eyebrows," Were the amount of chains really necessary?".
She felt as though she could be used as an anchor for petes sake!
Mina could feel that her body ached and now there was more pain than ever, he wrist was cut.
She looked at it and her eyebrows immediately furrowed in confusion," What happened to my wrist?".

message 187: by Your Mom (new)

Your Mom (yourxmom) Arthur blinked when he saw her spat at Killian, let alone process her question. Oh, so the tranquiliser wore off. He thought the client would have been wise rnough to inject her with enough doses of the tranquiliser to take out ten cows. But no, apparently he only put in one dose. Killian was stupid indeed.

After regaining his bearings, Arthur simply looked down at his client and shrugged. "You owe me more money anyway. Let's just say that you still owe me 5 grand? I think it's fair, don't you?" he asked with a nonchalance he did not feel. He walked pass him, and he was freaking out. Why did he just do what he just did? His reputation would be... in ruins. Maybe, maybe not. Most probably not. But still...

Arthur took out the dagger from his belt and kneeled by his client, before slicing open his wrist. Killian's blood poured out, and Arthur quickly yanked to all the way to Mina, ignoring his wails of pain. He held up his wrist to her. "Drink this. Long story. I have no idea why your wrist isn't healing though. Drinking blood should help," he shrugged, offering her Killian's bleeding wrist and holding it to her mouth. She wasn't healing, just like that time in the hotel room where her leg wasn't healing.

Then a thought occurred to him. In the car, the wound on the inside of her thigh was still open. But when he woke up after she drank his blood, she healed incredibly fast. Faster than any vampire would have. He frowned. Was it just his blood, or did she just need anyone's blood to heal? He doubt it was the former. If it was, then how did she heal in the past?

message 188: by Niran (new)

Niran | 1842 comments Mina's mind and self control became non existent as she saw the blood that leaked out of the clients wrist. It looked delicious, soft and flavoured enough for her. Though she didn't mind much what kind of blood was being offered, as long as it wasn't intoxicated with alcohol or drugs.
The client was very much clean and pure.

Mina hissed at the client and started to thrash, her mouth and face creasing in demand for the blood. She looked to the client to see that he was glaring at her, he wasn't frightened, just angry. She could tell by his expression and her rate that he wanted to murder her.
"Touch me and you will regret it, Mina" the client said, clenching his teeth and giving her complete venom when he replied.

Mina simply gave him a slow, steady and sarcastic smile, showing him that she didn't care about the threats that he threw towards her.
He was nothing to her. Not anymore.
Not since a long time ago.
"Too late", she said, giving him a confident and arrogant look.
As quick as lightning she moved so that her mouth was around his slit wrist, you could see in her eyes that she wasn't herself. She was more than herself, she was the royal member.

message 189: by Your Mom (new)

Your Mom (yourxmom) Arthur determinedly held his client's wrist to her mouth, letting her suck him dry even as he struggled tooth and nail against Arthur's grip.

Arthur was soon forced to strike Killian across the face, and effectively, he passed out and went limp. His body was hanging off the ground as his wrist was stretched up to feed Mina his blood.

Not a very comfortable position, he bet.

Arthur glanced back at Mina, and wondered why she didn't seem as eager to get his client's blood and showed much more enthusiasm when it came to his blood. Maybe she simply hated him more. Yes, that might be it.

But Arthur's face pinched into a frown as he watched her gulp down his blood, and yet through the web of chains, he could see that her wrist had not healed at all. In fact, it seemed to start getting swollen. For as far as he knew, vampires were supposed to heal when they drank blood, not get worse. But like any other human, she wasn't healing.

After a full minute of drinking a pint of his blood, Arthur threw his client onto the ground in a mangled heap. A groan escaped Killian's lips, but he hardly noticed. He waited for two full minutes, eyeing her wrist through the chains. But where was no improvement. The open gash was still the same as five minutes before.

Was it just him, or was she getting a sickly pale? Even for a vampire? "What's wrong with you? Why aren't you healing even after drinking his blood?" He scowled.

message 190: by Niran (new)

Niran | 1842 comments Mina looked to Arthur with a confused and taken aback expression. She wasn't healing.
As she observed and looked deeply at her slit wrist she realised that it truly wasn't getting any better, in fact it was as if she was getting worse.
What was happening to her? Was it something to do with Killians blood, or was it simply because her body had now become used to Arthur's blood.

"I don't understand", she murmured, oblivious to her surroundings and who she was, it was as if she was directly talking to her body.
"I should be healing, I should be strong enough to rip through these chains", she stated, clenching her teeth and becoming scared and agitated by this whole situation. All she wanted to do was go back to her home, but the sun was probably up and she was in too much of a pickle.

She tried to push her arm against the chains but it was like she was a human, a human who simply had the cravings of blood but no real power of a vampire.
"Do you think it may be Killians blood? Or maybe even your blood?", she asked, finally looking at Arthur. She was ashamed that he, a vampire hunter, her enemy, was seeing her so weak and vulnerable. She hated it.
Though if it wasn't for him she would still probably be in this whole Killian client situation.

Then she looked at the chains that bound her, made her feel uncomfortable. She have Arthur a slow and steady raise of her brow and asked dryly "Do we really still need the chains around me?".

message 195: by Your Mom (new)

Your Mom (yourxmom) Arthur didn't answer any of her questions, considering he himself didn't know why she was healing. But as to the chains, what could he say? He was paranoid at times, and at the time, he was afraid that Mina might be tricking them and pretending to be unconscious.

Suddenly a thought occurred to him, and he narrowed his eyes on her again. What was he thinking? She could very well try and attack him again when she was out of her chains to feed whatever addiction she had toward his blood. Why was he taking the risk? Why did he think it was safe? She tricked and attacked him the first time and broke her promise to get his blood. What made him think this time would be any different?

He looked her up and down for a long moment, considering his options. He couldn't leave her here either. His client would simply torture her worse than he had planned before. And maybe even through Mina's hate for him, she'd help Killian hunt him down. He definitely couldn't risk that.

But with her wound not healing, he somehow felt that he could handle her, even if she pounced this time. Vampires couldn't control whether they wanted a wound healed; it'd heal automatically. Maybe the sight of it somehow reassured him that she was indeed weak, even after drinking Killian's blood.

Without another word, he cautiously bent down at her feet and started to untuck the end of the chain away from the web of chains that surrounded her. Slowly and cautiously, he started to un-mummify her from her chains.

Soon enough, she was completely free, and he jumped back the moment the last of the chain left her body. He was prepared for another attack. And if she did attack him this time, he'd put a bullet in her. He was standing several feet away from her, his hand gripping his gun that was tucked under his waistband. He didn't draw it, though.

message 196: by Niran (new)

Niran | 1842 comments Mina looked down at her wrists and let herself sit in the chair for a brief moment. She could tell by the hunters heart rate that he was slightly worried she would attack him, though that was not her motive or intention. Not now anyway.

She also noticed that she was not yet healing, she wondered why, and she felt herself become a little frightened at the thought of not healing quickly. That was an advantage she had gotten used to and now it no longer helped her body, it was as if it was non existent.
She was a vampire, just without the powers that a vampire should have.

She looked to the hunter, Arthur, and scowled at him "What is happening to me? Was it your blood or his blood that caused my body to become as weak as a humans", she spat. She was disgusted in herself.

She got up, her head span and dizzied her slightly, so she had to hold on to the chair for a brief moment.
Mina turned herself around to see that Killian was lying there, dead and lifeless, blood covered his body. She walked towards him slowly, looking at the being emptily and kicking at his foot to see if he was truly dead or if he was simply lying.
Killian was a good liar, one that even fooled the most infamous of beings.

"Why did you not just do as you were told? Why did you not torture me, Arthur?", she asked, still looking down at Killians useless body. This ruined the hunters reputation completely.

message 197: by Your Mom (new)

Your Mom (yourxmom) Arthur had by then expected her questions to come and rain upon him. He stood a safe distance away from her before replying. "So you didn't want me to save you, then?" he asked, arching a brow. He still had his dagger at ready, of course.

Niran | 1842 comments Mina rolled her eyes in reply to the hunters silly question "Of course I wanted you to save me". She did not want to be Killians play thing by being constantly tortured simply to entertain the sick bastard.
She crossed her arms and tilted her head ever so slightly, observing the hunter and trying to figure him out. "But did you want to save me? Or was it just out of pity? Why risk everything, hunter?", she asked, clearly being nosy and trying to get him to answer.
Mina could tell how alert he was, he was a distance away from her and he had a dagger. So she stepped forward, showing him that the distance did not necessarily mean anything.

Your Mom (yourxmom) Arthur had been considering her question for a moment, before her sudden movement towards him jolted him out of his reverie. He immediately took a step back, eyeing her cautiously. He glanced at her hands to see if she had a weapon in hand. No, she didn't and her wound still wasn't healing. Good. He hoped she would stay weak. At least, until he got out of there.

"A little of both," he said, looking back up at her face and into her eyes. "Plus, I also have a reputation of not inducing too much pain on my target. At the most, a quick death if need be. But never torture," he explained, his eyes never leaving hers. "And when he asked me, I was quite much pissed and offended," he added.

Niran | 1842 comments Mina looked right back at him as he spoke, not blinking and simply looking deep into him. She could tell he meant what he said, but she still couldn't understand him anyway.

"Were you not supposed to kill me anyway?", she asked firmly. She took another step forward," Kill me, hunter. That's what you were supposed to do, kill me quickly".
In a way she was testing him, and in a way she was also hoping that he would realise he didn't want to kill her, that it wasn't just his rules and morals that was stopping him from killing her.
