~ Aaron & Niran ~

If she was going to give her name she might as well give it right and full, she did not care for pretence. Many of the elders had told her to take another name, use it so that hunters and others would not be able to truly know who she was. So that the name Mina would have no true face to it, but she could not.
She looked to Stefan from under her lashes and as she fiddled with the glass of her drink, he seemed to be keeping an eye on both her and the human.
He was suspicious.

Of course, he noticed her small glance toward the bouncer once again. He also stole a glance at the bouncer out of the corner of his eye. He was indeed watching them unusually closely. The celebration he was having inside died down to silence. Damn. The bouncer was an uprising problem. Maybe he did indeed acquire enough information tonight. He could get home and research on the name later. He debated whether to leave as he finish up his beer.

"Now why don't you tell me your real name, Christian?", she said bitterly, looking at him as if he had made the wrong mistake by telling her a false name. She gave him a dark and brooding look, she knew that he had been lying and he was very much in danger of him being the resolution to all her temper.
She usually did not like to kill whenever she pleased, she did not like the waste in life so she never really did what other vampires did.
She only hurt or killed when hungry or angry or to protect herself. Stefan moved away slightly, though she could still feel his eyes on both of them, he knew also that that was not the mans name.

"Just tell me, I won't bite", she said, though only she knew that it was ironic, so she smirked to herself as she looked down.
She was getting bored," Just tell me your name". Why was he acting like Christian was his real name?

"What do you think my name is? Why are you questioning my name?" he asked exasperatedly, as if females are extremely confusing. Of course, they were confusing, so it helped in his charade.

As was hers.
"How about we go somewhere else and I can answer all those questions?", she replied with a question, looking at him with flirtatious eyes.
She was hungry, not just for the human, but what the human had in him.
Blood. Sweet, lovely blood.
She rose from the stool and moved away slightly, but she looked at him and smirked," Are you coming?".

Arthur grinned through his facade and acted surprised. "Already?" he asked as if half disappointed and half delighted. Of course, he was indeed delighted. An easy way out has just presented itself to him. With that, he placed some money on the table, got up and followed her out, aware that the bouncer's eyes followed them both. That bouncer was really starting to tick him off. He'd have to eliminate him. Well, not that he HAD to. But he wanted to. Nobody made and gave him a problem without suffering and dying later on.

She looked aside to him, keeping close to him and feeling her hip against his as they moved.
"I just want a one night stand", she purred as she looked at him under her lashes.
She grabbed his hand as he headed for the staircase, but she shook her head and gave him a hungry look," I know how to get out of here quicker".
Before she waited for his reply she took some twists and turns and finally found an exit door from the back of the building, it exited into an alley way. She finally felt the fresh air against her neck and collar bone, she pushed Christian up against the wall and smiled mischievously.
She wanted to get this going, she wanted him and his blood already.

Of course, that victorious feeling as he escaped the building disappeared the moment she pushed him up against the wall. Shit. He was pinned, and she was strong, considering she was a vampire. He knew he couldn't let her bite him no matter what. He didn't want to get addicted to vampire bites. Especially not of his target. He might go insane if she was dead and he was still addicted to her bites. Humans wouldn't get addicted because they had no idea what happened, so the mind would relate it to nothing. But hunters would know exactly what was coming for them, and he didn't want the after effects. He had to get her off him one way or the other.
But he simply grinned at her as his mind worked hundred miles per hour. What was he going to do? He can't attack her. She would remember his face and would have blown his cover as someone innocent. What if he was required to come and further investigate her? Shit, he really need a plan, and one just refused to appear before his mind.
"Hold on," he quickly said as he reached for his belt. His belt had a knife strapped to it, and he kept a hand on it's hilt as he gently pushed her off him. Of course, he made sure it was still hidden under his shirt. "Not here. I'd like somewhere more... private," he explained, in a more husky tone as if he was lusty. He hoped she'd cooperate, or he'd have to knock her out and escape. He had a syringe of a mix solution in his pocket, and it was only used during extremely desperate times. Now wasn't the time... yet.

Then he would get privacy.
He was going to die anyway, she might as well allow him to be in a place of comfort before he did.
She nodded and then asked," Okay, where?".
Usually she would have body guards or bouncers or someone following her every move just in case, to protect her. But she knew how to protect herself, though sometimes she could be clueless.
She didn't want any help, she felt as though she had been mollycoddled all her life, and she still was. She wanted to break free of any bondage she had to the world she lived in, she would still be a ruler but she would not be treated as if she was a child.
"You must have a place in mind already, right?", she looked at him and said," You know if you're not up for it just don't". She teased him slightly to hurry him up. She needed that blood!

A plan has already started to form in his mind. Get Mina to the hotel, knock her out and escape with two dead bouncers left behind and an unconscious Mina. Seems like a plan. But it was just as risky. He didn't know how well Mina's skills and reflexes are. Sure, he could beat a trained bouncer or two. But he didn't know what exclusive training such an important identity would get. He had to be cautious and remember not to get too cocky.
((What should the mixture do? o.O Reverse the effect and instead of making him addicted to her bites, it'll make her addicted to his blood? o.O And then have some kind of side effect? Or no side effect? o.O ))

Mina could already sense that people were following her, the bouncers, only two. Without having to even look behind her, at them, she knew they were average height with muscles like the Vikings.
She looked down the street and then back at Christian," Alright, let's go". But before she went, she turned around towards the dark alley way and glared into the shadows, telling the bouncers to leave.
But they did not.
But the human wouldn't know so she looked away and back at Christian, knowing she would not win with her guard dogs. She grabbed his arm and pulled him along softly, caressing his arm as they walked and finally got to the motel.
Mina had always been a stubborn, brave and tactful vampire, quick thinking when it came to certain situations, but she had no idea what she was getting herself into.

Arthur had a very VERY bad feeling about all this. Somehow, he just knew that somehow his plan wouldn't work. It would be a disaster to follow her into a motel. But they were already registering and entering the elevator. It was now or never. If he failed later in combat, he would be doomed. If she let him live, he'd be a mindless servant to her and will only be able to think of the next bite from her. She would become his mistress.
The decision was made. As the elevator doors closed, he stealthily sneaked out the serum from his pocket and silent injected it into his blood stream while Mina turned her back to him and pressed the button to go up to their designated room floor. He quickly slipped it back in before she can sense anything was wrong, but Arthur could already feel a small pounding headache in his head. He knew this was normal after he took the serum, and it'll only take five minutes for it to disappear and the real effects to set in. For the next five minutes or so, he'll just have to deal with he growing headache.
He leaned back against the wall of the elevator as they went up, closing his eyes as he tolerated the pain. It was worse than her thought, and he was starting to regret using this path.

Mina had already assumed the best; she would drink his blood, but she didn't know whether to keep him or kill him. If his blood was good she would keep him, but if it was less than okay she would most likely kill him.
What was the point if she didn't like his blood?
She could see that some part of him was somewhat nervous or stiff, but maybe he just wasn't used to one night stands.
But neither was Mina, although she knew exactly what was about to happen. He didn't.
She looked aside to him and saw his eyes close briefly, she placed a hand on his arm and simply asked," Are you alright?". Though she didn't care. But she must act human, otherwise the other human would catch on to something.
Soon, she thought, you'll wish you'd never met me.
That caused her to smirk ever so slightly, but she quickly disguised it with a slight worried and curious expression.

They reached the floor of interest, and as the elevator doors opened, he pushed himself off the wall. First mistake, he stumbled into Mina and they both fell back on the floor in the corridor. He suppressed a groan of pain as the impact just doubled the pain he was feeling. He started to feel as if he had ran 100 full miles, his whole body aching and exploding with tension. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!
He managed to regain his bearings, enough to get himself off Mina quickly with an apology. She was probably infinitely suspicious by then, but he hoped otherwise.

She could hear and feel his blood moving around his body such a violent way that it enticed her so much. She wanted it.
She then looked at him as he got off from on top of her and pulled herself up, she took his hand and guided him to the room they had been assigned.
She opened the door and pulled him in softly, she pushed him to sit on the bed and rush to get a towel from the bathroom. She ripped it and put it under cold water, she arrived back to see Christian on the bed and moved the cool towel over his forehead.
"Better?", she asked, gentler.
She didn't know why she was being nice, but she simply didn't want her foot to be too hot.

Yet it was more then a bit. He felt something cooling touch his forehead, but it only made his headache all the more concentrated. No! It seemed like forever, enduring the pain he was in.
Finally, though, the pain suddenly dissipated and everything in his body returned to normality. His eyes sharpen and the roar of blood in his ears were gone.
He blinked, and realised there were tears of pain in his eyes. Shit, that was a big risk. Mina could have killed him, being as he was. He noticed a cold cloth above his eyes, and was infinitely surprised that Mina was the one holding it. She hasn't undressed him. Good. Then she shouldn't have realised he had his knife with him.
"I'm fine," he muttered as he peeled the cloth from his head and from her hands. "I don't know what came over me," he muttered in a way of apology. Was his facade blown? Shit! Guess he'd have to find it out the hard way.

"Maybe you had too much alcohol", she stated, sitting beside him. But she soon shrugged everything that had happened off, she didn't care anymore.
All she wanted was him. Him and his blood. She slowly took of her jacket, showing a tight black jumpsuit that fit her curvy body perfectly.
She moved closer to him with a smirk on a face, but she didn't say anything else, she kept her mouth shut.
She didn't know exactly what she was doing, she had never acted as though she was about to have a one night stand. Though she had lost her pureness long ago, she was still very much inexperienced at seducing or even enticing men. She was clueless.
But she decided not to treat this man as a lover, or even act as though he was one. Instead she simply thought of him as a hunt, as prey and food.
Before she could actually control herself, she had her hands running up his chest and to his neck, her finger tips running over them smoothly. As soon as she felt a vein pulse in his neck, she felt her fangs come out and her eyes start to change into a vicious dark, electric blue.
"I will try to be gentle", she laughed tauntingly.
But she gave him no chance to reply, because she had suddenly flashed to be on top of him and felt her fangs engraved in his neck.
She felt his delicious blood flow through her, it was intoxicating.

The more Arthur tried to push her off him, the more pain he felt as her fangs pulled against his skin. He felt himself getting exhausted by the second as more than a pint of blood has left his body. This wasn't good. He opened his mouth to speak, but there was no words that came from it. He felt himself getting unconscious, but the serum prevented him from going any weaker. He was as weak as he could already be with the serum at his aid. He shouldn't worry so much, considering the serum would enable his body to regenerate blood quickly. But he still didn't want to be helpless with a vampire in the same room, not even for a minute.

Mina felt herself become stronger; her senses awakened even further and the life came flooding back to her.
She smiled against his throat as she sucked on his neck a little bit more. She suddenly leaped up from his neck but still remained sitting on top of him, smiling at herself and having her eyes wide open to explore the room more clearly.
She knew there was blood all over her pale face, mostly around her mouth, and she also knew that by now her eye colour had gone from an electric blue to a pitch black.
She had never felt more alive.
Mina looked down at Christian and laughed slightly, unable now to care about his stability and life span," Such an amazing specimen, your blood as fine as the oldest wine".
Though it never crossed her mind as to why his blood was so special, she was caught in the moment of it, the glory of it all.

Of course, he always worried to much. Soon enough, his exhaustion was replenished with energy, his blood almost fully regenerated. His headache was gone. He felt... as if he just took a cat nap. Interesting...
Arthur still couldn't let Mina think of him as more than an innocent human. With that in mind, he pretended to be unconscious, his face contorted as if he was having a headache. His hand came to rest beneath his shirt, seemingly unconsciously doing so. But in reality, he was wrapping his fingers around the hilt of his stake, getting ready to strike if necessary. Fuck his client. His safety was at risk now, and he couldn't afford to take too big a risk if his client was so demanding. He already wasted millions with just that one jab of special serum.
So he simply laid there, as if unconscious, but his ears and skin were extra sensitive as he registered every sound and movement. If the vampire atop him made any sudden movements, he would kill her.

She wanted more of his blood, but her suspicion was high. She moved his shirt up to see that he was gripping a knife.
Who was he!?
She his at him violently, angry and annoyed. Her teeth were out and her eyes were wild," What are you!?".
With vampire speed she removed herself from his body, trying to flee. But somehow she had ended up dropping to her knees, her head was hurting, she felt weak, she felt unbelievably weak. She had never felt like this in her whole life. The energy she had was like a drug, and now this was the aftermath of it.
Then she got it.
"What was in your blood? What did you feed me!?", she shouted, looking to him with eyes that said she would kill him when she got better.
That is, if he didn't kill her.

He stumbled out of bed, unsheathing his stake from his belt and eyeing her cautiously. Could she be acting weak? She shouldn't be weak anyway. That shouldn't be the case. For all he knew, she was playing charade so that he would let his guard down. Not going to happen. Not ever. Maybe she realised he was indeed a hunter.
"You will only know me by the name of Christian. And what are you talking about? Don't play weakling with me. I know for a fact that you're better than this," he said as he gestured to her on her knees on the floor. Of course, he was also inching towards the exit. Maybe he could escape without any bloodshed, and he would still be able to receive his money for completing the contract. He damn sure hoped so. He didn't want to waste all his time and the precious serum on nothing.
But she did seem genuinely weak, and that confused him by quite a bit.

She wanted more of his blood.
She looked up to him, her fangs out, blood still on her face and her eyes completely black.
Mina licked her lips and grinned at him," You taste so delicious, hunter. What is in your blood?". In a quick motion she had him pinned against the wall, she looked over him and smiled," You found me out, I was fooling around with you. But now, I think I will keep you, as livestock of course".
She was very much contemplating it, she couldn't understand how someone's blood was so delicious.
She had her arm on his chest and her other arm to his wrist to keep the one with the weapon down. She felt this sudden urge of strength, power and ability that she had never felt before.
She was awake and alive.
((I'm seeing that this isn't sticking to the storyline so should we just go with the flow and wing the whole thing? :P ))

And idea hit him. Since her grip was so strong, he could use her as balance, and maybe he'd somehow be able to stick his stake into her with his feet. It'll depend a lot on luck, and hopefully he'd be able to distract her well enough.
He suddenly dropped his stake from his hand, as if in defeat as his shoulders sag. But Arthur was careful that it landed between his feet. His mission was to capture her hostage, but the thought of it being possible didn't cross his mind, considering there were two vampire bouncers shadowing them all the while. Maybe now that he could knock Mina out, he can also take down the other two bouncers.
"That's it. It's game over for me. But why do you question what is in my blood?" he asked, and was actually genuinely confused. All he injected into himself was the serum. Unless it had a side-effect, it shouldn't even affect her in any way. But was he was talking, his feet slowly closed around the dagger and stealthily, with extra caution, began to angle it 60 degrees from the floor and facing her direction. Of course, he didn't start attacking until she started talking. That way, he could almost ensure that she was indeed distracted.

Mina glared at him as he started to laugh, unimpressed with his calm and collected facade. She wanted to make him scared and nervous, she wanted to make him as weak as he was. But nothing.
She just tightened her grip on his wrist, making sure the bone crackled ever so slightly just to taunt and tease him. It amused her to see humans distressed and fearful, though it shouldn't have at all. Some would think of her as a sick person, but she wasn't a person. So she didn't stick to their ideas of right or wrong, good or bad, moral or immoral.
She stuck to her own rules.
Why did she question what was in his blood?
"You- you have something else in you. I have tried so many people, so much blood in the lives that I have lived, and never have I tasted blood as...addictive as yours", she purred. Just thinking about the blood he had enticed her, it excited her to know that he would be her prize and possession.
She pressed against him, moving into him more and inhaling the scent of blood that covered his clothes and neck.
Mina could still feel some on her mouth.
She licked her lips while she looked him in the eyes, a pleased smile appearing on her face as she did so, she was hoping to disgust him.

Arthur's eye twitched with disgust as he watched her tongue run across her lips. He could taste her breath, the metallic smell of blood. And what more? it was his blood. Maybe she was simply saying his blood was addictive just so that she seemed to have an excuse to keep him. But why would she need an excuse? She could just as easily capture him and he'll never see the light of dawn again.
Her body pressed against his made it harder for him to move his legs without being noticed. But he already had his stake in position, and his legs at the ready. He lifted his leg slightly just to test to see if she was holding him tight enough. Oh, it was very tight indeed. Pain erupted from his broken wrist as half of his weight was pressed on it. But he showed no sign of pain, except for the slight flinch he couldn't hide.
"I don't think you want your 'livestock' injured, now do you, Mina?" he grumbled, looking down pointedly at the wrist she broke.
He couldn't afford to waste any more time, though. Just as she opened her mouth to speak, he used all his muscles and concentrated on bringing his leg up, stake pointed upwards. The whole stake pierced through her skin of her thigh and opened a bigger gash as her wound tore wider when he jerked the stake upwards. The wound was already hilt deep as he continued to jerk the stake sideways, cutting a fine line of deep wound.

Mina shrieked in pain, her mouth extending and her eyes glowing with anger and aggression. Though she didnt like to show that she was weak or at a disadvantage she couldnt help a slip of emotions seeping through.
She pushed him away, sending him across the room and hissing at him viciously. How dare he!
She looked down at her thigh to see that the jumpsuit had been torn, her smooth, pale skin had been ripped and now she was left with a deep, gaping wound. Blood crawled down her leg and all over her clothes, she tore the jumpsuit a bit more and saw that the stake had left deeper torn skin and flesh than she had expected.
She let out a dramatic sigh and rubbed her forehead," You, hunter, will very much regret what you have done. Also, I do not care if you are injured, as long as you live you will be mine", she clenched her teeth,

Oh... fuck! Arthur crumbled against the floor, the impact giving shock to his whole system. All he did was anger her, and probably only gave her some pain. Shit, this wasn't what he thought he would come across. Although she might be handicapped from one leg for a bit, she still out-bested his attributes. His 'traveler's' backpack was all the way back at the club. All his tools to kidnap her was there. Even if he could actually get out of the motel alive, people would start to question why there was so much blood on him. The bite marks on his neck healed, with the help of the serum, of course. But there was a scar left there. And he had no doubt that she was indeed going to make him regret what he just did.
Arthur scanned the room for any other tools that he could indeed use as a weapon. There was no such luck. He was down to his bare hands and his mind. But what could he possibly do? She was smart, so it'd be tricky to trick her. She was stronger than he is, so he'd probably break his fist if he tried to break her ribs. Stupid vampires. It was so unfair. Why must God make the forces of evil always stronger than the good?
With nothing left he could do, he scrambled to his feet and was out the master bedroom door. Now, all he could do was pray that a miracle would happen, and he'd somehow be able to escape. But he knew miracles never happened, and the chance of him escaping was slim to none at all. Now he stood in the corridor outside the bedroom, debating on what to do. If he tried to escape the suite, the bouncers would get him even before he'll be able to reach the elevator. He was seriously in deep shit.

Mina did not expect him to be fast enough to escape the room. But he had been.
For some reason she felt like the blood that had been given to her had also weakened her abilities and senses, she seemed so fixated on the blood that everything else seemed unimportant.
She shrieked out in anger and limped towards the door, scratching and clawing at it as she still heard him breathing on the other side of it.
"Let me have what's mine, human! Give me your blood", she shouted.
Mina suddenly felt her knees give in, she had been standing too much and the wound did not make situations better for her.
Fuck.
She fell to the ground, but she kept clawing and hitting the door, making it break slightly. She felt her whole body becoming weaker and weaker, her clawing and punching had started to slow down and her voice had become hushed.
"What- what is happening?", she gasped out. She reached for the table beside her, stretching for her hand to reach over the table and grip it to help her get up. Instead she fell back, the table with ornaments falling over and crashing as they did fall beside her.

Not to mention why Mina was unable to simply break the door off it's hinges. He also noticed that her rampage against the door was getting weaker and slower. That confused him all the more. What was into her? Was she trying to bluff him into opening the door for her?
He heard her gasp from the other side of the door, although he couldn't exactly hear what she said. He could hear an assortment of items crashing onto the floor not long later.
What was happening? What were the noise inside? His curiosity piqued. Curiosity killed the cat. But, of course, being Arthur the smart-alec, interpreted it in a different way. The curiosity killed the cat, simply because the cat couldn't bare to discover. Not because the discovery caused the cat.
Arthur gingerly cracked open the door, and peeked in only to find Mina on the floor, like a damsel in distress. She looked... like she was in withdrawal.

This question kept running through Mina's mind as she lay on the ground limply, ornaments and decorative material broken around her.
She saw that the hunter had come back in, glancing hesitantly at her as if she would pounce.
Her eyes wanted to shut, they wanted to see nothing but the darkness and to fall asleep.
Everything seemed weak, everything seemed as though it was blurred and unfocused.
She couldn't take not being in control of situations, how could anyone stand being on drugs or getting drunk?
"What?", she said, gulping and looked at the human, her voice sounded rough and dry," Are you pleased, human?".
She could tell he was, and she wanted to hurt him for it.

Arthur took a step towards her, still eyeing her every movement. Her muscles seems relaxed enough. Arthur inched towards his stake, and once his hand was secured around the hilt of his only weapon, he yanked it out. Blood erupted from her wound, and for some odd reason, it refused to heal.
Strange. Vampires could always heal if the stake was out of them. Although it was slower. But her blood seemed to be pouring out without control. The thick metallic smell of blood was once again in the air, and he started to panic. She was indeed weak, and she was going to die if that wound didn't heal fast. Glancing around, he spotted the cloth she was using on him earlier, and quickly grabbed it. He wrapped the torn fabric on her thigh, all the while still tense as he was mindful that with one swift kick from her leg, and he'd have broken ribs.
He needed her as a hostage, not to kill her.

She had never experienced such excruciating pain in her long lived life, why now?
She then turned her frown upside down, snickering venomously and sarcastically as she looked at the hunter.
"I must say I am very surprised that you are not lavishing in the fact that I am in constant pain", she sighed, slowly and carefully pronouncing each word clearly.
She finally shut her eyes, not wanting to see anything further. But she winced as the hunter wrapped around the towel she had used on him before around her leg to stop the constant bleeding. She wasn't healing.
"What is your stake made from?", she asked, curious as to why she was not healing.
Maybe it was his blood, maybe it was his stake. She had too many unanswered questions and not enough time to find them out.
He could kill her, right here, right now.

"My stake is a normal stake. I myself am very confused at to why you are reacting this way all of a sudden. Tell me, do vampires get an illness only your species can have?" he asked as he started to pace the room, his mind thinking a hundred miles per hour.
"I really don't see why you are reacting this way. And what was your crazy talk about my blood about?" he demanded. That last part disturbed him more than he thought it would.

In some shape or form people loved it, it meant power and authority to them. It made them feel something much more than anyone ever could.
She looked to him and shook her head," No such thing as an illness amongst us vampires", she stated. They were immortal, illness did not effect them. Not even slightly.
"Your blood", she stated, smiling as she remembered the taste," There is something much more than just blood, no ones blood has ever tastes like that. Your blood, it gave me much more strength, energy and power than I had ever felt. It was thrilling".
Just thinking of it now, it made her want more. But she could barely move a finger.
Arthur inwardly lit up, almost breaking his facade with a laugh of glee. Almost. But he only allowed himself a small grin as inwardly he celebrated a victory. Only a small part of the battle has been won. Now, for the details.
"Mina," he rolled the name over his tongue and out of his mouth, as if it was the first time he was saying her name. So far so good. "Mina Vladimir?" he asked with an arched brow, as if he was considering it. "Interesting name..." he trailed off, staring at her questioningly. Now, he had to somehow find out where she lived and acquire some information about the vampires. Hmm, maybe if he'd annoy her or piss her off enough to make her bring him home to supposedly tear open his veins and drink his blood. But how?
