I finished reading Christmas on 4th Street
- a snow and christmas theme for the challenge. I was surprised how quickly I read through it. The leading male is a military doctor and it covered a variety of relationships including pets, children and extended family. It takes place in a smalltown

First book done, and the one I'm reading now has a doctor in it, so I'm good for two at least, and I haven't even gotten to the snow covers yet!THEMES: (1) World Aids Awareness Day {December 1st} Read a book where someone is ill: This is a real tear-jerker, but I should expect that from Kristin Hannah, shouldn't I? You'd think I'd learn! Katie dies of cancer (this isn't a spoiler - it's already happened at the beginning), her teenage daughter Marah is depressed & becomes a cutter, and her best friend Tully becomes an alcoholic & drug addict (prescription drugs, but she knows how to work the system).

Although I already completed this challenge, I was able to sneak in 2 more books: Mistletoe Not Required - Christmas Theme (Story takes place around Christmas time, but the storyline is not a sweet christmas story. The story is about a relationship that develops after a flirtation and a one night stand-It also takes place in Southern Australia)It's Not Christmas Without You- Christmas Tree on the front cover. (Although the tree on the front cover is not decorated the storyline revolved around a Christmas tree lot and is about highschool sweethearts trying to come to terms with their undying attraction and love)
