How Not to Find a Boyfriend

I recently read “How Not to Find a Boyfriend” by Allyson Valentine. This was a very interesting book because I kind of went out of my genre comfort zone. I usually read more serious novels. This was a chick-flick/ romance novel. I thought the protagonist was light and carefree which was not much like how the high school minds actually work. I would recommend this to 7th and 8th grade to kind of prepare them for relationships in the future. The main character Nora is a freshman and is practically in love with this guy in her grade. She has different stages you have to go through to land the perfect boyfriend. It was funny and light-hearted as well.
