December Challenge - Christmas (of course!)
I started
Kissing Christmas Goodbye / M.C. Beatonas a nice quick read after finishing Neuromancer as my last Spring Challenge book (was a bit heavy).
I've also picked a new author for me as a second book
A Christmas Guest / Anne Perry
I'm going to read one Christmas picture book to my kids each night leading up to Christmas Day, as well as trying to fit in Little Exiles and maybe Winter Solstice. So far we've read:
A Bellbird in a Flame Tree: The Twelve Days of Christmas by Kilmeny Niland
Jesus' Christmas Party Mini Treasure by Nicholas Allan
Hooray! After several missed attempts, I just managed one of the challenges. I read Ros Baxter
Very short, but hot & enjoyable.
Is another on my list.
I have finished my second for this challenge:
December's Wish by Karly Lane

I finished my first one. Excellent as always - a nice quick read that doesn't require anything other than enjoyment.
Kissing Christmas Goodbye / M.C. Beatononto the next one now....
Finally found a good one for December Claus: Legend of the Fat ManLooks like a quirky one :) LOVE super heroes!!

Wow Rosie, you're doing well :) is that 6 so far?
My official choice for this challenge is Little Women but it's taking me longer than expected to get through it, so I've just read The Christmas Gift by Monica McInerney to make sure I finish at least one Christmas story. It's free on Amazon (thanks for the tip, whoever posted that) at the moment. I've set the American teenagers aside for the time being and might delve into A Redbird Christmas by Fannie Flagg before I call it quits for this challenge.

Thank you.
I have read at least 11 for this challenge. I have had the last week off work so lots of time for reading.

Just finished two very quick reads for this challenge. Santa is Coming to Melbourne and The Polar Express. I picked up Little Exiles from the library the other day as it's been on my TBR for a while and then realised it has a Christmas theme so will try to fit it in!!!
I have finished my third as well The Christmas Gift by Monica McInerney

I read this one last Christmas Marianne and really enjoyed it:)

I'm currently reading The Book of Secrets: A Novel from my TBR pile, and it keeps referring to The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe which I loved when I was younger and have very fond memories of. So I decided to read it aloud to my kids and I've realised it actually qualifies as a Christmas book, so there you go, it's now part of my December challenge :-)
Surprisingly, I don't seem to have many Christmas books on my shelves. I have been offered lots through Amazon and Kindle over the past couple of weeks, however. I gave in and bought a couple of cheap novellas. Christmas Wishes
The Christmas Cuckoo
Both were rather boring! LOL *off to try and find something a little more review-worthy*
Well we have almost finished the second week of 'Christmas Month' and so far I have read:
Christmas Crumble by M.C. Beaton
A Christmas Memory by Truman Capote
The Kissing Season by Rachael Johns
The Christmas Cookie Club by Ann Pearlman
A Family for Christmas by Helen Scott Taylorand finally (but not the last - have a few more to read)-
A Bush Christmas by Margareta Osborn
I haven't even started yet but I plan to read
Unholy Night
The Christmas Train
Mr. Murder and
Merry Christmas, Alex Cross before 31st December. All on my kindle and raring to go.
However I have to read The Luminaries for another challenge first!

Thanks for sharing your review. I got hold of the book (story) and read it this afternoon. I hadn't heard of this author before, but will be interested to read more of his work.
