You know what I kind of regret? Last time I passed through South Dakota I didn't stop at Wall Drugs. But that's more tacky than odd.

Remember the potato chip and piece of toast that looked like Jesus?
Shit, just take a drive in the South, stop by some of these dilapidated houses that pepper the landscape, and you're bound to find many an oddity.
Me thinks Ripley's isn't looking hard enough.

That place is a real relic from the past.

*tries to remember oldest relic seen* Hmm. A skeleton /like/ Lucy - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucy_(Au...

btw you did check out the books I've read? Shows my oddness. Oops! Forgot all those SW books.
Sarah Pi, you're in Baltimore. Have you gone to the Ripley's in Ocean City? I've walked by it but for some reason didn't go in that time. Arg. In retrospect I should have!

a)frozen custard
b)really greasy pizza
c)skee-ball
d)flying kites

I should have included e)people-watching -- agreed. That's what you do while eating your frozen custard and pizza.
Oh, and f)finding the absolute worst tourist t-shirts (not to buy, just to identify)
Ripley's is having trouble finding enough weird artifacts. They should have bought them up when our American Dime Museum closed a couple of years ago.
