Please suggest books for Group Reads for December 2013

Hi all,
we have decided to resume the group reads. Please suggest books (not your own or your friend's) for group reads. The first 5 suggestions will be put up for poll. And the winner will be discussed in the group.

No categories as categories put off many people. Because we are trying to start afresh, we thought let us see how it goes first. About 2-3 years ago we used to do book discussions with moderate amount of success. Later this petered out as most of the regulars somehow got busy in their personal and professional lives.

We will read only one of those books as a group-read, we won't read all the five books. Or perhaps I didn't understand what you mean :/

There is still time to vote till the 30th november so perhaps another book will win. We never know!
