I heard an excerpt of a book, which name is related to Christmas. It is about a man who wears a bath gown and buries his own wife. He picks up his instruments from a narrow hole and so on. After he had it all ready, he sets off with his car, drawing up in a plain. Overall, a scary book about burial. Please, help me find it!

Why was he burying her in a narrow hole? Was it also a mystery? Or did he just not want to go through a funeral parlor?
