Sam walked up and sat down fingering her leather gripped sword and trying to decide whether or not to try some of the obstacles on the course.
Sam finally decides that she will go into the course. She looks at a dummy moving close to her and begins some basic warmups starting with hopping the dummy's feet off at the ankle te expertly jumping around behind the boy she realized was watching her when she walked in holding her blade to his throat threateningly.
(Sorry didn't realize) to the girl who she realized had been watching her since she walked in
"You didn't know I was watching you did you?" Sam said. " I'm pretty good looking for people who notice me"
Sam lowers the blade from Casey's throat slowly
I shove my sword into its sheath and ask slowly," whose your parent?"
"Hmmm.. Mines Athena I wondered why you were looking at me like you tasted something bad." I think about asking you to battle and then think better of it
Crap did I say that out loud Sam thinks she smirks "maybe"
"Prove it," Sam says grabbing her sword and running to the middle of the field. "If you think you can beat me come and try" she yells
Sam waits for Casey to make the first move. She gets into a fighting stance and waits calculating every detail about Casey to get a good idea of how to fight her
AMA blocks the move and rolls underneath Casey jumping up and stabbing out towards her back
"Not bad" Sam comments blocking the second strike and slashing at Casey's face giving it a shallow cut
Casey catches Sam in the shoulder making her wince "alright you want to play hard we'll play hard" she says switching her sword to her uninjured arm
Sam rolls her shoulders and crouches down holding her sword as if it weighed nothing and looking up smiling at Casey's relation to the one cut. If she could just get Casey more rules up this would be fun
"So worried about your pretty makeup?" Sam taunts jumping back from Casey's move
Sam rolls her shoulder again feeling the hot blood pour From it steadily. She needed to end this fight soon so she thrust with all o her remaining strength before taking a knee becoming fuzzier the more blood she lost
"As good as I'll get right now. Battle strategy is nothing against an angry Aphrodite kid" Sam smile upward trying to get up to get bandages and falling back down to the ground in a spasm of pain
"Thanks you know we were never properly introduced" Sam says unrolling the bandages and beginning to wrap them around her shoulder
Sam smiles eating the nectar and then standing again holding her hand out to Casey "I'm Sam Trainer"
(I'm a girl to) we shake and I ask quietly "want to come with. I'm going to my cabin for a bit you did a number to my shirt" I say pointing and smiling at the white bandages wrapped around my shoulder
"I actually don't have one yet" I smile(the leader of the group said he would choose for me)
They start to walk back to my cabin and I ask "where did you learn to fight like that. I've never seen an Aphrodite fight like that before"
"Oh.. I-I didn't know. I'm so sorry" Sam says looking down embarrassed that she even asked
"Yea.. I'm I've never met my mom or for that fact any of the gods and goddesses" Sam explains looking down again thinking about her dad with tears in her eyes
"Sorry I just. My dad was the only one I ever got to see but now he's dead"
Sam wipes the tears away and smiles slightly and then moves toward the cabin she was in front of "come on time for you to meet my siblings"
"Half siblings" I smile "they don't know me that well"
"I don't know I only know of one. His name is Milo" I grin "I haven't even truly met him yet"(I was at dinner sorry)
"He's my brother how would I know. He is bi but leaning towards girls right now" I smile
"Yea yea I'll be right back ok" I run into the cabin and grab a shirt changing quickly then running back out
"Alright let's go" Sam started to walk away from the cabin
