Just in case any of you are interested (and weren't already aware) there is a Facebook version of our group also:

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid...

Just for fun, anyone who joins gets to be an honorary officer with a title out of pulp and / or fantastic literature.
(Werner, how do you feel about being Van Helsing?)

Werner Steve, I'd be honored to be Van Helsing; he's pretty cool! :-) As I've said before, I'm not very active on Facebook, but I do log onto it whenever they e-mail me with something I need to respond to.

Steve | 19 comments I'm somewhat new to Facebook, and am just now checking out the various groups, etc. Anyway, I saw this, and joined yesterday (love the pulp art). Thanks for posting.

Werner,
I finally got around to re-customizing the officers for the Facebook Pulp group. You are now Van Helsing! Reminder to anyone else who wants a title such as a favorite author or character, let me know. Thanks,

Werner Yes, I'd just noticed that when I was checking my e-mail! Thanks, Steven!

Steve | 19 comments I have a few questions regarding the FB layout (which I hate). How can I get the Pulp group to show up on my Profile? I'd also like to see when updates occur (I love the art that's been put up). I did join the group, but I can find nothing that says so on my Profile, but if I go to the page, it seems to indicate I'm a member. Do I need to quit -- and then rejoin? Did my membership get nuked due the layout change?

* I found the Group Tab on FB (off to the Left).

Steve | 19 comments Steve, could I be MacReady from The Thing? (Wikepedia has it as "R.J. MacReady," but from what I remember from the movie he was just "MacReady"). Whichever, and if someone hasn't claimed it yet.

Steve,
You can definitely be MacReady, I'll go in and add that in just a few.
Regarding your question of how to have the group show up on profile, I'll have to check that and get back to you. FB changes so often it's sometimes hard to keep up.

If Max Brand's Dan Barry is available, I wouldn't mind claiming that name. I'll need a Satan and Black Bart, if anyone's interested ;)

Vincent Zandri (vincentzandri) | 2 comments Yup, I'm there too...:)

Kirk | 1 comments This looks like a great group! Thanks for the invite.

Can I be Doc Sportello from Inherent Vice on FB?

Not quite authentic pulp, but a great character nada the less....

No problem Rogue Blades, but can you email me or message me what your Facebook name is ?

And I can probably help find some one willing to be the other two characters, is that what you're asking me? Sorry to be so dense today, stayed home on pain meds, major dental work.

Sounds good to me Kirk, I think Doc Sportello fits the bill...

Yup, that would help, eh? You'll find me as 'Jason M Waltz' on Facebook (with a Rogue Blades Entertainment page if interested). As for partners, I was just kidding about that...though I certainly wouldn't turn them down :)

Thanks!
