okay, so this book has four girl protaganists. Three of them had boyfriends who just broke up with them or they just broke up with them. the fourth girl has never had a boyfriend and i remember her saying "isn't loving someone and getting your heart broken better then never loving at all?" or something like that. She says that because the three other girls are saying that the fourth girl is lucky to never have gotten heartbroken. All four girls then come up with some sort of breakup code or rules to live by. I remember they have some kind of "ceremony" with it or something. Each chapter is told by a different girls point of view. the fourth girl does get her heart broken but then I think she gets back together with the boy. By the way there all in highschool. This other girl was dating this guy for years and then he broke it off. I remember they both were at some coffee shop and she read a poem to everyone and her mom started clapping for her so then everyone clapped and the girl got back together with the guy. Another girl was dating this sleaze bag guy and they broke up at a party because some guy kissed her and her boyfriend got jealous so he kissed some other girl there. These two did not get back together because she realizes how much of a douche he is. The last girl was dating this guy she thought was perfect but then she realizes hes a no fun, nerdy, uptight guy so I don't think they get back together. I know that theres a sequel to this book but I don't know what that's called either.
