Need beta readers for humorous/heart-felt novel to be published in January.

The manuscript is receiving its final edit, and the next step is to gather feedback from beta readers. I can send only 1st chapter, and if you wish to continue, I can send another chapter or the rest. My hope is to find others to read it from beginning to end, but I totally get that it may be too much for most. Really, any feedback would be helpful.

I should have ready, soft or hard copy, whichever you prefer, by November 22nd. A couple of family members have read parts of my novel, but you know how that goes...they love it and they're so proud of me. Now I just need to know if the folks who don't know me feel compelled to keep reading it.

Hi Kayleigh,

I am looking for more beta readers. So far I've received feedback from several people, but no two people have given me similar or the same feedback. All the feedback is constructive and could potentially be helpful if there were a common thread to any piece of feedback.

I think only giving out sections of the entire manuscript to the beta readers made it hard for anyone to figure things out, and everyone seems to have been left either uninformed or hanging. There are other beta readers who still haven't gotten back to me, so I'm still waiting to see if a common thread will come up.

Even while waiting, I am currently only looking for new beta readers who are able to read the entire manuscript. Is this something you can do? If so, I will send you a synopsis of the story in order for you to decide if it's a genre you normally are interested in. Also, almost half the beta readers don't usually read my book's genre, and that seemed to affect some feedback as well. I am learning lots through this process as it's my first time with all this.

After I send you the synopsis, and you think my book sounds appealing to you, I can have the manuscript (either digital or hard copy) to you in about a week. So far I have five beta readers who are waiting to read the entire manuscript, and I'm looking for another five.
