What's the truth between the Vampire Chronicles characters?
Personally, I tended to side with Lestat when Louis and Armand were involved. Probably because I loved him so. However, I always gave more credibility to Marius and David Talbot (maybe because they seemed wiser?). I was also very fond of Pandora as a strong female character.
To me, Louis's whining was annoying. I think Rice portraited him as someone who's perceptions were affected by the pity he felt for himself and by ideas of persecution.
It's so much fun to discuss these characters after so many years. I read Interview with the Vampire 19 years ago... I'm quite sure I will eventually re-read the Vampire chronicles.
