What should happen in "The One"?

-America found a big secret about Gregory Illea.|
-The Southern and Northern rebels team up and loose eventually.
-They will make up a fake attack and test the girls and who ever didn't panic, cried and didn't went to hysterics might be Illea's future Princess.
-America finds out what the southern girl is looking for and became fiends with her and solve the southern rebel problem.
-Maxon and Aspen will meet and Aspen explained everything that happened between him and america and Maxon will forgive him and Aspen will be the head of the guards in the palace and will sacrifice his life for America when the rebels attack.....................

America is going to chose Maxon then the king will threaten to kill Mer if he choses her. When there about to announce his wife he picks Kriss. Mer leaves without knowing that maxon is actually saving her. Then she finds out her dad is the leader of the rebels and she finds out that the reason behind the attacks is to expose the truth of the goverment. she then calls the princess of italy to help supple the rebels. then after they win they will set up a goverment system like that of England. after all this mess is dealt with the king is executed for his crimes, Maxon explains he never wanted to marry kriss and still doesn't(he hasn't married her yet), and he will abdicate the throne to America but she convinced Maxon that they both rule together with equal amounts of power. so the caste system will be eliminated slowly by evening out the jobs and explaining to the new generation how the new system will work. Along the way, Celeste is running away from rebels and she runs into a bears den. Then she is brutally mauled by the bear, but survives. All of he looks are gone and is brutally scarred forver. the end.

I've written a fanfiction about this, but here is how I think it is going to go:
Maxon will catch America kissing Aspen and dismiss her, but on her way out of the castle, she gets captured by the rebels and BAM guess who comes in to save the day?
Maxon.

I had just ended reading the guard and i found out that Aspen is not that bad, of course i still want that Maxon would end with America but in the eyes of Aspen (and a delete scene of the elite) you see that actually,America doesn't know a thing from maxon and that maybe he is not what we really think, i hope it will not what i'm thinking, that maybe maxon will stay with Kriss, just because she gave him support and that maxon has a secret and awful personality because one thing is how America sees him and another how others does
Another thing is thag in the official page i read that Kiera Cass said that she felt like Maxon was a little bit fictional, not always being there like Aspen and that even when most of the fans gave up so fast on him, he will always be a "special part" of her heart!
Im just praying for not letting him win!!!! :O

Maxon being fake. I'm not so sure. And Aspen despises the king. He atticely says it throughout all the book. Aspen to me doesn't see Maxon when he is with america he allows himself to be him. Not the crown prince everyone expects. I get that feeling I may be wrong.

No that's not actually what i said, of course Aspen still hates the king and all that stuff , it's just that when i read about him, he was not that bad , he cares about America a lot and when america was falling for Maxon, he thought she was falling for him again and that make me so sad!!!!
And about Maxon being fake, that's not what i really meant, i like Maxon, a lot and i am agree with you when you said that he only can be himself when he is with America, is just that when you read the first and second chapter of the one, you'll realize that is a little bit weird,not like the old Maxon, i am just to afraid that he prefers kriss or maybe that America is not the FIRST thing on his list as i thought, that's all, if i am right (i hope i am not) the book will be a big dissapointment ;(

I agree. Maxon ending up a jerk wouldn't do. I mean I know that Aspen is her old love. I still think of mine. But Maxon I think in what I'm sensing from what your saying is testing America. To see if her heart truly lies with him. I think he knows about Aspen. He may be giving her a chance to tell him. Like he has done throughout the trilogy.

Ok, so I just finished The Elite and here are my predictions for what going to happen in The One. Some of these should definitely happen (part 1) and would be totally awesome if they did (part 2).

Part 1: Ok, here's what should happen . . . And will happen (alright these things may not happen but would be totally awesome if they did)

Maxon chooses America (has to happen or Cass will be getting an angry fan letter)
America chooses Maxon
Aspen and Lucy go off into the sunset
The caste system is eliminated
A big fat wedding where America is having the happiest day of her life when she says her vows to Maxon.
Maxon and America get married and a CORONATION happens where Maxon is crowned King and America becomes his Queen and America feels empowered instead of scared.

Part 2: Some awesome plot twists include . . .
Queen Amberly was only chosen because King Clarkson got her pregnant then she lost it
Queen Amberly had an affair with the rebel leader and that rebel leader is Maxon's father (okay shocking and a long stretch plot twist but it would explain how Queen Amberly had a miscarriage before she got pregnant with Maxon and how she two more miscarriages after she gave birth to Maxon. And it would explain why King Clarkson whips his Maxon (what kind of father whips his own son unless he not really his))
Queen Amberly is actually sending secret messages to the rebels
Queen Amberly's true love returns and they confess who's Maxon's real father is
King Clarkson DIES because the rebels are trying to kill him and they succeed
the rebels are actually trying to destroy the monarch and get the government back to the way it was
Kriss is a spy but is trying to support the rebel's cause and get America and Maxon together
America's father and family are sided with the rebels
A new government is formed where Maxon and America are King and Queen but the caste system is eliminated and everyone is equal and the people have a say in the government


Cannot cotton my excitement. I need The One to come out NOW! The next few days will seem like an forever. I just have to know. Aspen or Maxon? Please be Maxon. Pretty please....

Sooo Rihan, i liked the part about Maxon not being the king's son and all about Queen Amberly having an affair with some rebel guy, if that happen, it will be totally awesome!!!!!
But i think that maybe even if America chooses Maxon, i don't know, there have to be so much more, something unexpecting, somethkng that i will remenber forever, something like, for example, what about when the rebels were only taking the books of the palace??, what will it suppose to happen with that?? what do they actually want??, there have to an story with some complicated plot and also i would really like to know about maxon and his life because i know what he does but in the eyes of America and obviously "The Prince", i don't really think that we had truely met him, he's a little bit shy, i don't know how to explain it, for example in the first chapter of the one i think he didn't act like the same character of the other books, i am not saying that he is evil or that i don't like him anymore, I am just trying to understand what is changing in him??, everything it's a little bit weird and that only makes me want the book so much more I CAN'T REALLY WAIT!!!!!!!!!

Okay, i know i might be mean by wanting this, but does anyone else not like the idea of lucy and aspen ending up toghether? The problem is, i like lucy enough but, i don't like the idea of her and aspen ending up together and riding off into the sunset. Also. if i were America and found out that lucy liked Aspen i'd want her to be re- assigned to care for someone else. Plus, it obvious enough for me to jump to the conclusion Lucy likes aspen by how thay seem flirtatios and how she had a breakdown talking to mary about, how she deserves to have somthing that she shouldn't have.

Maxon is unsure what to do. Kriss maybe a southern supporter. Celeste is actually the only person who hasn't changed. Literally. She tells it like it is. She's sneaky yes, But America doing the same seesaw thing she did in book two is REALLY PISSING ME OFF! More so now!Make up your mind! you either like him or you don't! quit being preachy also. okay yeah she is doing a seesaw thing here however can you really blame her. She wasn't planing on even enter the let alone falling for Maxon or getting her heart broken. Celeste is a huge Bitch and is very sneaky cause she will do ANYTHING to get Maxon. I can relate to her actually my heart was broken by someone I really cared about. Like America I thought it would last but they broke my heart by fouling around behind my back! I understand her pain and yeah its tough for her, I love America more than I thought I could love a fictional character. One thing we're both redheads and were forced into circumstance similar to hers. I hope she ends up with Maxon because he seems to understand her more and she is understood by him. I don't get why people like aspen. Lorna Celeste is shrewd she is a player and will play any hand she gets!
